Guys it's so obvious. The reason that Madara is able to survive so long is because he became too old to live in his old body, so he switched bodies with a much more powerful and resiliant body. That of Yo Samity Sam. Now he can move around at the speed of light, and he put out the Ameratsu by stamping his feet and shouting at the fire while shooting his guns, the fire got scared of Yo Samity Sam's power so it ran away. I think that Orochimaru was trying to use Jutsu created by Pein (body posession and body transfer into the first and second hokage using his students). If Pein has the body possessing he could have transferred Madara into Obito's body. I think that Obito's body was not taken completely over and there is a duel personality. Jiyara stated that those were shinobi that he fought. I wonder if those were the same Shinobi in his book that did not sale and how Naruto got his name. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm???

no it is not "definitely correct". in fact it is a very large stretch to make your theory work. first of all they talk about the rinnegan as existing a long time ago not from madara. madara uses sharingan, rinnegan has been blatantly stated as a different doujutsu than byakugan and sharingan, completely different. also hair can be changed and showing one eye over the other is DEFINITELY not definitive evidence in any form. pain is jairya's disciple, madara was alive before jairya's birth. facts.

Madara's intentions must have been so severe for the Uchiha's clan, that itachi was more or less compelled to assinnate his race. But sometimes, I think because of this vid, that Itachi's hold life afterwards was manipulated by madara, and gradually he made steps to ensuring that his true intentions for susake, would overcome in areas he himself was unable too.
rasenshuriken is a ko if hits, it damges every nerve in every cell so sasuke's moves can kick narutos ass :) i think that itachi try to prevent madara from killing the clan, so he killed his friend for MS but he still failed so he sets up sasuke to try defeat his Ultimate goal! >:D

i think he was trying to take sasukes eyes. it seems that itachi and tobi are not on good terms. itachi talked about madara being a shadow of his former self. itachi wanted to serpass and maybe kill tobi. at the last moments of the sasuke itachi fight he realized that he may not make it out to face madara and gave sasuke all his eye techniques to perhaps protect sasuke from madaras intentions, i mean it was madara that convinced itachi to go kill his entire clan.

maybe your theory could make sense, but the manga literally spells out that tobi is madara, obito is dead and pain is an old disciple of jairya. both can make sense while only one being right, unfortunately friend i think your theory will remain a theory. maybe just maybe there is a chance it could get spun around to match your conclusion... but i think the fact that tobi is madara (which was alluded to before this chapter) is a big enough twist that Masashi Kishimoto would be satisfied.
Care to explain your theory? I suppose you could say that Tobi is lying about him being Madara. But for what purpose? Tobi would in no way need to be Madara in order for him to make people scared... I'm sure that he can show people his power if he wanted to intimidate.

Probably Itachi killed the clan becuase Madara and Sasuke's parents were going to kill Sasuke. So Itachi SUPPONENLY (sp?) teamed up with Madara to kill the clan, thus saving Sasuke. Thats my hunch.
Itachi is not such a good guy, UNLESS the murder of the whole Uchiha clan was an illusion. I say he's no good because in order to achieve his goals he: killed a whole clan, made his brother's life misserable for almost 9 years, and he even used his evil sharingan on Sasuke to make him suffer when he went back to Konoha. What I admit is that he is terribly focused. I guess he gave Sasuke the sharingan as he could not have it for himself any more.
Or perhaps it was all some sort of plan by Itachi. Perhaps he knew how powerful Madara was and knew that Madara would kill the entire Uchiha clan. So Itachi might have preffered to kill his own clan by his own hands than to let somebody else kill them and thus struck a deal with Madara. Not to mention all that has happened these years might have been the best way for Itachi to motivate Sasuke into becoming stronger and having a chance to kill Madara.

Perhaps Itachi knew that either way the clan was going to get wiped out. So he figured that he would take extreme methods to make sure that Sasuke got strong enough to stand toe to toe with Itachi if not surpass him.

no it is not "definitely correct". in fact it is a very large stretch to make your theory work. first of all they talk about the rinnegan as existing a long time ago not from madara. madara uses sharingan, rinnegan has been blatantly stated as a different doujutsu than byakugan and sharingan, completely different. also hair can be changed and showing one eye over the other is DEFINITELY not definitive evidence in any form. pain is jairya's disciple, madara was alive before jairya's birth. facts.

sasuke cant control any of the mangekyou jutsu. like the amaratsu is only activated when he sees tobis sharingan. so unless hes fighting tobi then those techniques are usless... for now.

Madara's intentions must have been so severe for the Uchiha's clan, that itachi was more or less compelled to assinnate his race. But sometimes, I think because of this vid, that Itachi's hold life afterwards was manipulated by madara, and gradually he made steps to ensuring that his true intentions for susake, would overcome in areas he himself was unable too.

Not to mention all we've seen is all of Sasuke's new techniques that he has developed during his training with Orochimaru. We've seen like a billion new techniques from Sasuke and only a couple from Naruto. What have we seen from Naruto during his training with Jiraiya? Nothing really. The only new technique we've seen from Naruto is the Rasenshuriken while we've seen a crap load of new techniques from Sasuke.

It wasn't Sasuke's fault. Itachi programed Sasuke's new Mangagekeou Sharingan to activate and use Amaterasu when Sasuke saw Tobi/Madara's Sharingan. Pause at 7:53.

i think he was trying to take sasukes eyes. it seems that itachi and tobi are not on good terms. itachi talked about madara being a shadow of his former self. itachi wanted to serpass and maybe kill tobi. at the last moments of the sasuke itachi fight he realized that he may not make it out to face madara and gave sasuke all his eye techniques to perhaps protect sasuke from madaras intentions, i mean it was madara that convinced itachi to go kill his entire clan.

maybe your theory could make sense, but the manga literally spells out that tobi is madara, obito is dead and pain is an old disciple of jairya. both can make sense while only one being right, unfortunately friend i think your theory will remain a theory. maybe just maybe there is a chance it could get spun around to match your conclusion... but i think the fact that tobi is madara (which was alluded to before this chapter) is a big enough twist that Masashi Kishimoto would be satisfied.

It all pretty much makes sense now this is exactly what the story needed,
although I don't like the way itachi had to transfer "HIS" mangekyou now sasuke won't be as unique too bad... but maybe sasuke will further the mangekyou's abilities.

Itachi is not such a good guy, UNLESS the murder of the whole Uchiha clan was an illusion. I say he's no good because in order to achieve his goals he: killed a whole clan, made his brother's life misserable for almost 9 years, and he even used his evil sharingan on Sasuke to make him suffer when he went back to Konoha. What I admit is that he is terribly focused. I guess he gave Sasuke the sharingan as he could not have it for himself any more.

Or perhaps it was all some sort of plan by Itachi. Perhaps he knew how powerful Madara was and knew that Madara would kill the entire Uchiha clan. So Itachi might have preffered to kill his own clan by his own hands than to let somebody else kill them and thus struck a deal with Madara. Not to mention all that has happened these years might have been the best way for Itachi to motivate Sasuke into becoming stronger and having a chance to kill Madara.
