The Democrats were supposed to pass a budget in October when the controlled both houses of congress and the Presidency. Why didn't they do it then? The Republicans could do nothing to stop the budget. So who is really shutting down the Government? Reid and Obama. The Budget is $1600 billion dollars (1.6 trillion) and the Republicans are proposing $61 billion in cuts.That's nothing, the debt is $14 trillion, at that rate we'll all be dead before anything is done.

Which is precisely why planned parenthood funding should be addressed in another bill, I didn't miss the point that was my point. I personally have no quarrel either way. I think that there is equal abuse from irresponsible women, as well as equal gains from costs of medical care without planned parent hood to make both sides viable arguments so it makes no difference to me who wins, but it shouldn't hold up this bill it should be dealt with separately.
