I watched this clip with the sound off just to see why anyone would give Hagler either of these rounds. Can't see why anyone would give Marv 4, 5 you can make a case, but just judging by whose head is getting snapped back, Ray won both rounds.

Hagler is too big for him, Hearns isn't a good match up and a fight with Leonard would be a real good one. I actually can't stand Leonard, but the only reason Duran even beat Leonard was because Leonard fought Duran's style of fight. Also, Duran did fight a lot of bums to pad his record and lost to guys he had no business losing to and you know that if you follow Duran. Naturally the fab 4 is a mismatch for Pac and Floyd because with the exception of Duran, all of them are naturally bigger

@InternationalBoy a prime Duran is closer to size than a prime Floyd, who's prime weight imo is 135-140.. FLoyd would beat Duran rather easily. His speed, surprising power, defense, intelligence, overall skill would be too much for Duran. Ring Intelligence, defensively, and skill wise Floyd is on par with any fighter in history. Im not saying he's better than everyone, im just say his unique skill set is on league with the greats. Pacquiao is exciting, but lacks boxing skills to be honest

Both these fighter looked old and spent in the 6th except that Hagler looked 60 and Leonard looked 50!LOL Gave Leonard the 6th based on cleaner landed punches... Hagler simply couldn't catch Ray for the most part! Gave the 7th to Hagler based on power puches, pressure, and more activity- that was one great round! Got it 5-2 for Leonard after the 7th!

after 5, I had it 3-2 Leonard. I thought rounds 1, 2, 4 were good for Leonard, 5 was definitely Hagler and 3 was very close, I gave it to Hagler, but couldve gone either way.

first thing is the clean shots.if judges have it even they include in ring generalship and/or effective aggressiveness.both equal in weight.if the judges still see equal performance the last thing to decide upon who gets the ten points is the defence.they won the ten points not because of ring generalship and/or effective aggressiveness but on the clean shots they made which is the first and top most thing to consider.i think that hagler did connect cleanly as much as ray.

I think Hagler was the Boss in this fight but Ray was King. The judges gave Ray the nod so the point is mute as it was a close enough fight to go either way. Hence, the split decision.

hagler tho totally shot, actually more than held his own. I was surprised with his lack of sped and seeing Ray's sharpness. Ray actually only held even with Hagler in rounds 1,3 becuz of marvin's lack of assertiveness. I didnt actually give Marvin a round tho until round 5 and not again until round 8 but he swept the next four rounds. Hagler shaded this fight but it wasnt the real Hagler nor was this for the undisputed crown as in the past. WBC portion only
