  • just a quick question im in Australia and hunt sambar deer which are very hard with rifle and ofcorse bow .Are whitetail dumb there seems to be alot of video of them getting shot what are they like copared to sambar , im not being a smart ass just trying to learn as we have no whitetail in austraila

  • @MrHuck73 Whitetail are very elusive, however we have millions of them here. The older bucks are wise and leary until the "rut" comes, just like men the bucks get dumb chasing girls LOL

  • @MrHuck73 Big deer are hard to get anytime of the season. They dont get big by being dumb. A big mature doe is the wisest deer in the woods and can be extreemly hard to kill with a bow. Big buck many times will go nocturnal and only move at night after the season begins so to get one to be out in daylight can be challenging. Its all about being in the right place at the right time.

  • Love the new transitions. Another good video.

  • I felt horrible about the shot. I knew my yardage, I just panicked and made a poor shot. It happens to all if you bowhunt long enough. Waiting 5 hours to track him was a good decision, even though he expired quickly. He ran about 100-125yrd. The trail he left was insane. He expired just past where I last saw him. Thanks again John for the help and the encouragement to not give up on my best deer yet. Thanks

  • i like my story better. feel free to use it.

  • @contreeman LOL, thats so nice of you LOL, glad to see understanding between hunters,

Mark, you got nothing to be ashamed of, it happens, we don't make perfect shots everytime, neither do the pro's, only thing is I am honest about my shots, they cover them up.

  • @Coronadayz Mark still feels bad about the shot, fortunately he recovered it, we bowhunters get enough bad breaks, nice to get a good one for a change

  • Mark can be proud of that deer. he shot that deer like that on purpose that way the meat didn't get messed up. Right Mark????

  • @contreeman LOL, he really still feels bad about the shot, the deer was quartering away and misjudged the yardage
