  • brilliant!

  • Ye I guessed that you weren't using a doctype due to the nature of the tutorial's audience; to be honest I was just being pedantic due to severe boredom :P

Ye, the align attribute is depreciated in html 4.0+ (except for in tables) although it will still produce the desired results in most browsers even with a doctype. Here is a list of attributes and whether or not they are depreciated in HTML 4.0: tinyurl(dot)com/9ndho

  • You forgot to add a "DOCTYPE," and the "align" attribute is depreciated as of HTML 4.0

Other than that, great video... very helpful to people who are new to HTML :)

  • yes, but this was a beginner tutorial. For people are getting curious about web design and looking into html, I don't want to scare them with the various ways that browsers can read html, I just want to introduce them to the head and body tags.

As for the align attribute, is it really? I still see full support of align and valign attributes in 4.0..

  • Nice tutorial!

  • o and nice background lol i slowed down the video and saw it at 4:45
