this vid may be old but this is EXACTLY how a boiler works, espically a liquid-fired boiler, like the Foster Wheeler type D boilers

it's very strange..i was responsible for the erection of Machhi Boiler in BOROUGE Project in UAE..this video describes the same process using nowdays to maximize the combustion in the D- Chambers througout the burners..MS line (Atomizing steam) mixed with PO line (Pyrolisis oil) and the air duct which blows a huge quantity of air (using the Forced draft Fan AD FAN)..
