@evil519 The crystals were a neat appearance. I'd like if they used it for something else in the future. The new End portal frame blocks are fairly important though. They visually show players how to complete the portal. Minecraft is in desperate need of more guidance on progression, and that's the most effective guidance they have so far. They need to provide players with more of a reason to try crafting and using Eyes of Ender in the first place though...

@VenomBlood4 The world generation changed between Pre3 and Pre4. I don't know why, but that's the reason I've held off on continuing a Minecraft's Let's Play. I've been waiting for Mojang to settle and stop changing the generation.

@kingpiccolo101 I don't use it.  Never have used it. I prefer third party tools like INVedit so I don't have to worry about installing and uninstalling. I won't want that mod in my game when I'm doing normal gameplay.

@kingpiccolo101 I try to avoid the temptation of using it to get items and blocks. Having it there at the press of a button is too much for my tastes.

@evildoom100 I'm not against others using mods, and I'm not against mods entirely. I just don't want a mod that gives me infinite free items. I'm more of an adventure player than a builder.

I used it for the Yogbox which was supposed to have some form of internal difficulty balance, and later I stopped using the folder for anything but the pre-releases. The folder is called "Modded Minecraft" because I use a client mod to keep the installation separate from the current official release.

@arspoor Uh... use a mod that fixes the crash, then destroy it like you would any other item? Sorry, I know there is a mod but not where to get it. Try the forums.

the ``ender´´is the ``sky dimension´´ and in ther its a new block and many many many ``endermens´´.

and the new boss mob ``ender dragon´´

``endermen´´ is black and the ``ender dragon´´ is white. it`s doesn´t mather if your black or white=)

@morgan1083 The appearance of the two are completely different, so I'm pretty sure Notch is adding both dimensions, eventually. The Ender dimension looks like it might come sooner.

The ender dragon doesn't have a skin yet. The white is a placeholder.

@jpc1918 1.) I purposely built it two different sizes, for testing purposes. The initial 3x3 in the stronghold, and 2x2 later outside of it.

2.) Water doesn't work. That's already been tested and proven not to work.

3.) "The End" was a joke made by Notch and the Farlands don't exist anymore. The game has been changed to generate pure ocean instead. The portal substance from this portal has black particles coming from it, like the ones you see close to the Void.

Notch's newest screenshots aren't of a sky dimension. It's of a pitch black sky and a strange and alien landscape filled with Endermen.

@Stealthops75 Possibly. I would be intrigued to see strong ties to the Endermen in the dimension, but their tendency to flee the day makes me think otherwise. Their particles are also purple, like the Nether portal. The "black stuff" instead has black particles, like the Void.

@TheAjalin It's a debugging tool Jeb was using to find Strongholds easier for testing and then forgot to remove. It's how I knew where to dig to reach a Stronghold.

Heres my theory.

If you actually look at the "Ender Goo" it's animation looks as if you can see inside of the block, even though it is not transparent. which looks almost exactly like a sci-fi esque rip in the fabric of space.

So if the Goo and the crystals have any corrolation, than I doubt its a portal anything like a nether portal.

@iJoshWillz I wanted to demonstrate how they behave accurately in normal gameplay, and you can't switch game modes in-game on single player. I know there's got to be a third party tool out there that can switch a world's mode, but I don't have such a tool and it was simpler to just give myself the items with INVedit and then stay in Survival.

@bahamat52 I tested the 3x3 when I first solidified the non-solid blocks. There was no point in replicating that size as there was nothing further I could test with it. Additionally the image in which someone placed the "Ender Goo" as some are calling it had a 2x2 setup like I was fiddling with towards the end.

@bahamat52 While I'm fairly sure it is a new kind of portal, I don't think it will be like the Nether portal. First, Notch is more creative than some people give him credit for, and I don't think he'd want to be so stale. Second, the "Ender Goo" looks like a portal substance, but horizontal. Third, merely completing the circle is a feat in itself, suggesting that maybe that will be all that's needed to create it. Fourth, looks like it will be very hard or impossible to build our own portals.
