@sdf227 I don't have the sheets personally, but if you go to the moltoallegro website you can download them there. They were transcribed by another You Tube user who did it on his own time, so if you like them, you can let him know.
We owe you a lot!!! You know you could have made a lot of money and yet you share with us your teaching for free. Thanks so much!!!
Just curious about how far can you comfortably stretch? 8th, 9th or 10th? Any suggestion on what to do if someone can only comfortably stretch up to 9th?
@kleinbogen I can reach as far as 10 notes, but it's a stretch. Nine notes is more comfortable, but it's rare that you ever need to do that in either hand, so I don't do it that much. If you can't reach the 10th note at all, you would either move the lower note up an octave and play the two notes close together, or you do a "jump" and play one note at a time, using the pedal. Neither one is a great option, but not much else to do.
This one is awsome too John. My favorite so far is your "I'm looking through you" cover. I cover Norwegian Wood as well, and thought about posing it, but haven't. Keep on posting man. I really enjoy it.
The only way to make this song un-repetitive would be to sing along with it. One Octave up helps second verse out nice. This translates great to piano. I'm just here again, to say that. I actually know what the lyrics are about now. She wouldn't give John what he wanted so he burns down her cheap pine wood apartment down at the end. LOL - Man, I love this song!
Thanks! Rubber Soul is my second-favorite album after Abbey Road.
It's actually a very simple LH pattern, going from low E to the E above it, to the B below that, then back down to E. I will have a tutorial posted very soon on this song.
Thanks! That makes a big difference. I love Abbey Rd too but sometimes it sounds so distinct I have to switch it up (I hope that made sense.) Rubber Soul 8 days a week for me (lol.) Abbey Rd is probably their best work. Obviously the ending climax is what got me listening to them on a solid basis bringing me to the hard core fan that I am. after applying those notes It all makes sense now. Thanks again.

@pianojohn113 Its beautiful, but your right, john, it gets a little repetitive. Adding a guitar and a sitar would not be a bad idea.

I figured out the right hand but what notes are you using for your left? I'm lousy doing chords by ear. Basically, LOL I can't.
Again, bang up job. This has to be one of my all time favorite Beatles tunes. I'm crazy for "Rubber Soul."

you should do a tutorial on this song but without the vocals added, so it would just be the guitar and sitar
