this is a good way to end the series but y'know, of course fans would be wanting more.. so if the show ends in season 8 or whatever the ending should be greater than this!!
i know you guys make think this is a bad idea.. but i think this episode would of made a good conclusion of Supernatural. Castiel being god is just waaaaack as hell!
What really made this scene for me was how Dean and Sam never really get physically messed up because the viewers (mostly fangirls) prefer pretty boys. Here though Dean's face is so bruised and bloated that he looks like he's part chipmunk. Alvin and the Chipmunks crossover!
I remember watching this with a buddy of mine. When he saw the beating Dean took, he said "His teeth must be nothing but shards by now." When I watched again on my own on my laptop and my friend heard it, he cringed and winced.
Holy Crap... I stopped watching mid-way through Season 5 (I can't remember why, it might have had to do with work). Now I will go and re-watch it all! (Is there a seventh season?)
I wonder... considering angesl have an amazing strength... when Sam recovered control of his body... could he still have Lucifer's strenght? Because I really can't believe Michael couldn't do anything to stop Sam to drag him. And, if that were the case... could that mean Sam had Lucifer's other abilities as well?
Michael and Lucifer are now both trapped together in the pit...can't they just...fight it out down there? And everyone else can just...not be doomed to apocalypse?
@SickSilckMan but that's the point, they were fighting for control of the world. If the angels won it would be Heaven on Earth for whoever lived and if not... well you saw "The End".

People are always stating how heartbreaking jensen was in this scene but i dont think alot of people are noticing ho swesome jared was as lucifer. his acting just blew me away, like there actually as lucifer there and not sam, in my opinion he definatley stole the show this scene :)
@vandelay91psn people know this. and in fact in multiple episodes, some of the monsters and demons true appearances are shown as reflections in quite a bit of episodes but only briefly. And from the way they looked, they looked good when still but when movement was added, it looked fake so that is the true reason why they are revealed more often. The never showed an angel's true form or the hell-hound's true form though. Humans weren't always around when they showed there form either.

You know my favorite part of this video is Bobby. He shoots the Devil. Not once. But twice. He knows it wouldn't even faze him but at least he tried. He even gives Dean a "I tried my best Dean, and this is it" kind of look. That man has balls of steal. If it was me, I would have shit my pants by the time Castiel "Exploded".
DAMN! Dean got tore up xD. This is a very good show. Only thing I dont like about it is that all the fullblown non-humanoid creatures are always invisible like the chimera and the hellhounds. I would have loved to have seen Death in his cloak and skeleton form or angels with actual wings. And I dont like how all the monsters are black smoke when escaping a human host. All of that takes away from the show just a little. Although ill have to say that there are many teary eyed points :P
@shinra358 Actually, thats what I love about the show, that they dont show the monsters full on...its up to your imagination. All the demons and angels taking human form is a way of humanizing them, making them more relatable and understandable. You see Death as this old man in a suit, but...you just KNOW he's death from the way he talks. You dont need to see his cloak and sickle. I think if it did show that, then THAT would take away from the show, make it a lor more cornier.

@shinra358 Those are two completely different shows. Fringe is a show that is infamous for it's lifelike creatures, and that is what people expect. With supernatural, people expect something more "down to Earth," as it were. It gives the viewers something to relate to, especially in emotional scenes like when Lucifer kills his brother Gabriel. I don't think any Supernatural fan would want to see Zachariah in his true form, with his 6 wings and 4 faces. That would be stupid.
I cried all the time when I saw that for the first time.. Dean and Sam..their memories..or when Dean said ''I'm here.I'm not going to leave you''..What more can I say? ..Really touching scene ♥
Lucifer hits hard. I remember seeing this for the first time. And just being amazed by the power he has. But a little glare of light and it's all over. But I love the memories that they show.
@Medragoon It was a warm-up for his one fist! Luci would let Dean recover a fraction before pounding him again. Luckily, darling little Sammy's memories held him back, along with the Power of Love!
@Medragoon Lucifer could have easily healed Dean's injuries and started over again multiple times. Of course he didn't really have that much time before Michael returned anyway.
@Amarynthine I'm pretty sure it was all Sam. It was Sam inside remember his life with Dean in the Impala. That love is what brought him back to the surface and pushed Lucifer out of control.

@Amarynthine Interesting. I only read up to about book 4 or 5 in Harry Potter. Well either way, that's exactly the same as what happened to Sam. He saw the toy soldier stuck in the back seat, and suddenly all his memories of him and Dean in the car came back to him.
@MaS509 Yeah man. There are only a few episodes left to air in Season 6 and I'm pretty sure it's getting picked up for a 7th. I've only gotten through this season though. Season 5 is probably my favorite. It has some really amazing stories in it, and this ending is so incredibly sad.
Awwww poor Dean he gets beat so bad......but this has to be one of the most epic scene in Supernatural ever. Dean was so sweet i remeber it made me want to cry. Luv Sam, Dean, Castiel, and Bobby. <3

Lucifer in supernatural vs Lucifer in real life. in supernatural, Lucifer was very nice compared to how he is in real life. He hates us very much. But in supernatural he was actually suer sweet. However I prefer no devil at all anyway but still.

MichaelDeFeo13, the whole point of creating the cage was containing the most powerful beings even if they work togther to open it. It was originally ment for Lucifer but it can still contain Michael and Lucifer. And the whole point of the season was kind of against the fact of obeying/being loyal to god. Cass wasnt loyal and he ends up in the next season :P.
At the time, Bobby's soul belonged to Crowley. Did he go to hell during those minutes, which is much longer in hell? If so why doesn't he mention it?

@Medragoon Lucifer could have easily healed Dean's injuries and started over again multiple times. Of course he didn't really have that much time before Michael returned anyway.

@Amarynthine I'm pretty sure it was all Sam. It was Sam inside remember his life with Dean in the Impala. That love is what brought him back to the surface and pushed Lucifer out of control.

@Amarynthine Interesting. I only read up to about book 4 or 5 in Harry Potter. Well either way, that's exactly the same as what happened to Sam. He saw the toy soldier stuck in the back seat, and suddenly all his memories of him and Dean in the car came back to him.

@MaS509 Yeah man. There are only a few episodes left to air in Season 6 and I'm pretty sure it's getting picked up for a 7th. I've only gotten through this season though. Season 5 is probably my favorite. It has some really amazing stories in it, and this ending is so incredibly sad.

Lucifer in supernatural vs Lucifer in real life. in supernatural, Lucifer was very nice compared to how he is in real life. He hates us very much. But in supernatural he was actually suer sweet. However I prefer no devil at all anyway but still.

MichaelDeFeo13, the whole point of creating the cage was containing the most powerful beings even if they work togther to open it. It was originally ment for Lucifer but it can still contain Michael and Lucifer. And the whole point of the season was kind of against the fact of obeying/being loyal to god. Cass wasnt loyal and he ends up in the next season :P.
