  • One word.....smooth

  • What a solid sound.

    Great job.

  • Who was playing on this recording? Jerry Scheff from Elvis TCB band?

  • I'm back again for my bass 'fix'. LOL

    Awesome stuff bro!!!

  • now combine this with the rhodes piano bass. LOVE IT! thanks!

  • Fuck me! That is the way a bass needs to be played, effortlessly. I must get this tune sorted on my bass, I forget how amazing this sounds! Brilliant!

  • I find myself returning to hear this fantastic tune quite often. Without a doubt this is the best bass playing that I've ever heard. So deep and rich. I actually prefer your rendention over the original.

  • Nice cover, but just one thing, watch out that wrists. You don't want to damage your body. Keep them in a straight position ;)

  • It sounds very accurate....you have the 60s feeling!

I liked it very much. Go on and keep on sharing, man

  • the bass is a yamaha rbx170?

  • @Suricatoist No this is a Lakland 44-02 bass

  • can you send me tabs?

  • @Tenebroso92 I am really glad that people appreciate this video but I have to remind you that I do not have tabs, but instead of tabs just teach it to yourself by ear like real musicians do. You'll feel much better about yourself if you figure it out on your own than if you use tabs (which may be wrong anyway) Just try listening to it and you'll figure it out

    Good luck !!!

  • @infusion26 actually, real musicians can read music. can you read bass clef?

  • @lacesoutdavid Actually a lot of so called real musicians don't even know how to read. For instance. Metalica, when they did the S&M CD? No music reading capability at all. And they been putting music out from 1983 to 2008. But that right, their not musicians. What a joke, keep the negative b\ullshit to yourself, Good cover.

  • @lacesoutdavid I can read bass cleft. But there are times when I like to sit, and listen to train my ears.

  • I read bass cleft. But sometimes I like to plkay by ear just to train the ear to pick up things.

  • you did really good, great sound, very very accurate playing.

  • @MrJaden318 Thanks for your kind words I appreciate it :-)

  • @infusion26 ^.^

  • Bass sounds great. Beautiful tone and great playing.

    Jim

  • great job, dude. one question.

00:53 and 00:55 - that are flageolet (whistles, harmonics, I'm not so sure about translation), on the 5th and 12th fret? Thanks for useful material for practice.

  • @wzorcherona I play a open note (A) , then I play the 12th fret (A)

  • @infusion26 then I have just found my own way to play it ;] thanks

  • The original bass part was played by studio bass wiz Jerry Scheff !

  • were can i find the tabs l?????????

  • Lovin the tone and the bass, nice cover man

  • I sooo like the sound of the bass :)
