  • Rolls-Royce RB-211-525C's! Love it!

  • Takeoff 0:46 airborne 1:30

  • I love the sound of a boeing engine giving full throttle.

  • Nice

  • it's a rocket!

  • Fan-tastic views!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great video!

  • Awesome video...excellent!!! I love the way you had your high-def camcorder positioned as if it was right outside the cabin's window..also...awesome viewing of the cumulus clouds once you got to the same height-level as them....THIS is one video I recommend for any relaxation therapy and how it works wonders!!! I added this to my ''favorites''

  • I flew in an A-320 out of Chicago a while back. Liked the ride just fine. Still prefer the 757/767 ride though...

  • whenever i hear that sound chills run down my spine!!!!

  • Ahhh...the sweet sound of Rolls-Royce power. Music to my ears.

  • The 757 is like a jaguar, it just leaps off the runway and isn't even breathing hard :) Great vid of this airplane in particular.

  • where were you heading to?

  • @MrCALLUMKING1 Charlotte

  • gotta love a pilots life especially on a 757. dragging to 200 mph multiple times a day

  • always fun to watch over and over and over again

  • Great vid my friend! I must say that the sound of those engines for three or so hours would be nerve racking!!

  • I can see a song plane.

  • Nice view with out the wing (but still there) obstruction right at you seat!!!

  • Nice view with out the wing (but still there) obstrucion right at you seat!!!

  • Delta Song (L)

  • Rolls Royce RB211 or Trent series. they produce so much power (Power to Weight Ratio) that the 757 was really "overpowered" The new 787 dreamliner runs Trent series Rolls engines.

  • @ajohnson353 if shes ever gets into service,a total disgrace from boeing greatest maker of aircraft in the world period.

  • nice video!!!!!!!!!!

  • great vid!!! what camera did you shoot this with? what engines are those?

  • @minkyblack This was back when I was using a Sony TRV20 camcorder.

  • it turns out great! I was using a canon power shot A620, but now use my canon rebel T1i for video love the sound of those engines!

  • RR's. They have the "buzzsaw sound"

  • @minkyblack Those are definitely Rolls Royce engines.

  • what, in everyone's opinion, are the best engines?

  • @minkyblack I like the GE90 engines used on the Boeing 777.

The engines used on the Boeing 757 were very powerful, the 757 had a very short takeoff run because of it, and could climb faster than any other aircraft in the segment.

  • I'm partial to the Trent 1000 series.

  • i love the AIE engines used on the a320

  • thanks! the best sounding engine I've heard was on a midwest express md80 back in 96..they were P&W engines...love the sound of those!

  • @minkyblack The 757 uses Rolls royce engines, very distinctive growling noise at high thrust. Also, overpowered. The 757 has been called the corvette of passenger jets for this reason.

  • @rudolphna54 what engine does the 737 800 series use? I fly a lot on southwest..

  • @minkyblack The 737-800 uses the CFM 56-7. CFM is a joint venture between General Electric and Snecma of France.

  • @rudolphna54 ok thanks! another question..how fast is the 737 going in miles per hour, right before take off...I say it's like 150 mph, but no pilot or flight attendant I have ever asked, can answer that question...

  • @minkyblack I BELEIVE rotation speed on the 737 is 160-170. Don't hold me to that though.

  • @rudolphna54 is it around the same speed when they land?

  • @minkyblack They try to be,. yes. But whether it actually happens, not always.

  • @minkyblack I thought so, because on delta I would watch the little screen that gave the air mph, and right before touchdown it was always around 150 mph.. I have take off and landing vids on my site as well, so take a look...I am always behind the wing usually..

  • @minkyblack it is a rolls-royce RB211-538

  • Great takeoff, seems like Florida is cleaner than many other states.

  • cleaner?

  • Yes, as far as less air and ground pollution.

  • What a beautiful sound... I love the sound of engines

  • the RB211 is probably the best engine for its weight class

  • @kj762aa PW2043 for me :)

  • boeing rules

  • YAY Song Is There!!

  • Boeing > Airbus.

  • @777BoeingFan if it aint boeing, i aint going!

  • This is why I love the 757

  • great overview over MCO-Airport

  • very smooth video!!! 5*

  • do you been in plane on april 2004?

  • This is what a proper jet engine should sound like! Eat your heart out DC-10!

  • And eat your heart out Airbus.

  • Perfect!

  • haha I'm glad you favoured this :)

  • Yeah i know. I still watch this vid like over and over lol.

  • wow love those RB211s.. sound quality is very nice.

  • Awesome chainsaw growl of those engines!

  • do you remember what seat you were in?

  • Sorry, its been so long I do not remember the exact seat. If I had to guess I would say 4A....partially based on the view I had of the engine.
