It's very easy to change your race mid game i've done it just use the command codes to add perks and lvl once it has reset ur stats. Or you could do an even easier thing just use god mode before you change your race and it wont reset your stats then simply turn of the god mode with ur console.

That's like saying putting your graphics settings up a notch is cheating. It's a single player game; the way you play doesn't affect anyone else's game, and vice versa. I would personally consider changing to an argonian just to swim with a bit of a cheat, but not just changing my appearance. To each their own.

@inhumanhyena you could if you have the PC version as well. you simply put your desired save on a USB, open Modio, choose explore device, find your save, right click and choose Extract, then extract it to your desktop. Then, drag the save from your desktop to Modio, go to the contents tab or something, extract the "Savegame.dat" file to your desktop, and change the ".dat" to .ess and put it in your Skyrim "Saves" folder, load Skyrim (PC), mod, change file back to ".dat", put back
