Who are you trying to fool? All you're doing is advertising how "great" Google is. Anyone that has real common scene knows how to bypass all the things you said. They can get rid of the history, or turn off the filter. Furthermore, you can't look after a kid 24/7, he/she can and will look at inappropriate things, if he/she wants to that is. No matter what what you do, you can't stop a kid form looking up something that he/she really wants to look up, this includes throwing out the the computer.

I can honestly say that I did all of those things when I was a kid. The only thing that stopped me was what my parents explained to me, not what they tried to stop me from doing.

Well, not all kids listen to their parents. Some kids might purposely do something that their parents don't want them to do, just to prove something or annoy them. Explaining is ok, but if you tell a child that they are not allowed to do something, they might do it because they want to find out why you stopped them. Explaining things might just make them more interested in what you don't want them interested in.

If my parents tried to block my system with a stupid shutdown program. I hack the pass :P Yep, I'm good at that. But my parents are cool, they wont do that. Unlike this lady, it sucks for her kids, i feel realllly bad. And kids always....i mean "almost" always delete the history, because they do not think it is anyone elses business. I do this, it isnt like i go to bad sites. I'm smart at computers, not to get hacked..yeya etc. Just have your kids be smart.

Yeah, if I really wanted to, I could get around anything my parents would do to block me, and if I didn't, I could ask one of my cracker (they're not called hackers!) friends to show me how. You can't make them unable to, you just have to make it so they don't want to.
