I own the PS3, and I've owned 3 Xbox 360s... With out a doubt PS3 is the best hands down.  Minus Halo and Fable, it has the exact same games with better performance and graphics. Free wi-fi internet. Blu Ray player. Microsoft is shit compared to this piece of machinery..... I still do enjoy Geometry Wars though.

Actually Resistance is a great series and critics agree giving it high scores. And if you think games like Uncharted, God of War, LittleBigPlanet and R&C that blow away any 360 game graphically are rubbish you obviously have never played them.

And 360 has lost alot more exclusives like Bioshock, Ninja Gaiden, Lost Planet and Dead Rising to name a few.

And no a 320gig hardrive is $60, any more "reasons" your beloved 360 is better?

Ps3 online is free, but rubbish. Ps3 HDD upgrades require buying a whole new fucking console, I don't pay for wifi but thats irrelevant anyway and finally I use wired pads. You're an idiot, who makes conclusions based on no evidence and often completely contradictory to reality.

Sony didn't develop this, but its a Ps3 exclusive, a deal Sony signed. You're being over-defensive and irrational.

PS3's online uses dedicated servers (Resistance 2 has 60 players without lag) while 360 uses peer to peer (laggy, host advantage). Ps3 can use 90% of laptop hard drives that cost about $60 for 320 gigs while MS charges around $150 for 120 gigs look it up.

Sony also has more 1st party studios and has alot more exclusive games for the Ps3

But Resistance and its sequel suck. Actually a decent 320gig HDD is more like $100, the Ps3 just makes these things more necessary by being totally useless as a console.

Sony might have more first party studios, but they're mostly rubbish. They've lost an unrecoverable amount of third party exclusives, which is where most of the good stuff was coming from. The 360 has not only more games, much more good games. I'd be with Sony, if the console was good. As it is, the 360 has more to offer.

A 7200 RPM Seagate Momentus 500GB Costs the same if not less than a 120gb HDD New from xbox, used would be about the same price.

120 Dollars new 500 GB HDD compared to

150 Dollars new 120 GB HDD

Not only is it cheaper but I get 480 more gigs compared to upgrading on a 360.

I don't doubt it, what I was contesting was exaggerations. Also making the point that needing to install games to your HDD is the reason a larger HDD is required. I haven't found the need to upgrade my 360 HDD past 20 gig, that includes the save files, DLC, Music and demos.

No amount of graphics, apparently 'revolutionary' media drives or DIY upgrading can convince me to buy a console with so few good games. You can argue around that if you like, but that's the crux of the issue in the end.

It was never about "need" that option wasn't brought to the 360 because anyone "needed" it, it was there to help the game run smoother, slightly very unnoticeably faster, and reduce the heat the console emitted, which was the key reason it was even brought to the 360.

Furthermore, 20 gigs is not enough considering 2 gigs go to the OS of the system, maybe you don't play a lot of games like I do, 20 gigs is not enough.

I have both, what really good games for the 360 are you even talking about? Multi-Plats? You mean the games you can easily get on the PS3 to? Gears? Halo? Mass Effect? Not a fan of the first two, the last one ended up being a boring platformer for me. The rest of the worthwhile mentions are multi-plat games that would defeat the purpose of even mentioning.

Both have few interesting exclusive games.

Firstly, where's the evidence the HDD decreases heat or increases framerate?By claiming these are the reasons the 360 even has a HDD, I'm sure you've got quotes from Microsoft announcements on the matter, besides the fact half the consoles functions require a HDD. Care to share? HDD's decrease loading times, which is why the Ps3 NEEDS one because the loading times were so painfully slow.

Secondly I play alot of game's have alot of music and DLC for half those games.

And still, the HDD is not full. I could delete content from game's I don't have any more to accommodate new ones if it's required to. A bigger HDD is not required.

Thirdly, let's ignore the fact that all those multi-plats are better on the 360, because all the game's are built on the 360 and ported to the Ps3, resulting in performance and graphical issues on the latter console, and the much, MUCH better 360 pad, The argument those game's aren't good is subjective.

I bought a PS3 because of the upcoming and already very good exclusive games. Demon's Souls and MAG.

Demon's Souls is one of the best Semi Platformer RPG online games "ever" to hit the marketplace exclusive to PS3.

MAG, is the first console game possibly PC game to feature large scale up to 256 Player online games.

Third, who said those were all better on the former rather than the latter? Let's look at this from a logical perspective, if a game can be ported to another system, there is no issue of performance. Graphics are a matter of opinion, and the difference is incredibly miniscule, HARDLY, worth mentioning as a point against anything. Don't really see the problem with the PS3 controller, I find it very convenient, however, to charge it through my computer without needing to change batteries.

You can argue the PS3 has "no good games", especially with Micro$oft buying out all its old flagship exclusives (lol FF13, Grand Theft Auto, etc.). However, the PS2 library is undeniably impressive, and it remains the best-selling console of all time. Note how the PS2 still has its own section in your local GameStop. And guess what? My PS3 is backwards compatible!

PS3's exclusive library is increasing quite well, by the way. And what does Xbox have that PC gamers don't, besides Fable 2?

games nowadays really aren't as fun as they used to. All they worry about is graphics and online. The only FUN games I played in this generation is most of what Sony put on the table, the new Zelda, Metroid, and Mario, GTA, Saints Row, and Dead Rising. Online is pretty good lately too but I'd rather have a solid storyline and fun aspects.
