@5RoseLilly Its hard to say, most likely divorced or even beheaded. But unlike Anne, Jane was submissive, whereas Anne was troublesome. So charges against Jane for 'adultery' would have seemed unlikely. Not saying Anne was guilty, but Jane was liked by the people.. whereas Anne was not. So he may have just got remarried, and pushed her aside like Catherine. But I expect he would have tried again for another child with her... but would have been losing his nerve. No one can say for sure.

LOL, it was so amusing to see Princess Mary's heartfelt and somber plea for Edward's health alongside Katherine Howard's frivolous romp with her lover. Such a striking contrast between the two young women. In this series, Mary behaved much more like a queen, whereas Katherine was like a silly little girl playing dress up (well, when she actually decided to wear clothes, that is. She was naked most of the time...)

I think in this scene Henry is also reminded of Mary's mother, Catherine of Aragon. You can see how proud he is of her, as Catherine was loved by the people too. Plus all of Henry's children in season 4 have had a mother/child moment, like when Elizabeth has the exact same bow and smile as Anne, and it reminds Henry of her. And when Henry can see Jane in Edward, and Edward shows him his mothers portrait and thimble.

That's not entirely true actually. The majority of the north was Catholic/didn't like Anne Boleyn, but I researched the Pilgrimage of Grace after I watched those episodes/discovered that many were disgusted/horrified that Henry had her executed/disgusted that he remarried less than 2 weeks after her death (though they did love Jane Seymour). They viewed that as vulgar behavior.

i think at 3:54 we see how regal Mary looks in comparison to Katherine. Also with the ways that the two are waiting. Mary keeps her head up and looks patient while Katherine is looking more like a sulky teenager than Queen of England.

The comparison is also shown at 7:00 when Mary is praying for Edward's recovery. At the same time Katherine is spending the night with Thomas. I know she may not feel the same kind of connection to Edward that Mary does but you would think she would be concerned

(A sign of peace & friendship) But the King of Scotland did not come. Worse, his army was harassing England's borders. That made Henry VIII very angry & that's why he broke the golden egg.
