  • Thanks for the video. It looks cold outside for May 11. Was this date just when you uploaded or when you actually filmed?

  • mcmaster western or york?

  • @blazerownsyou Depends on what you are doing, but I would probably say York, as long as you don't mind living in Toronto

  • @bowlestrek western or mcmaster? ;)

  • @bowlestrek for business forgot to mention

  • Nice prison!

  • the only reason i like mcmaster is cuz they actually accepted me even with my 4.1 GPA average, utoronto rejected me for some reason :(

  • @inexplicablefully tell me about it, LOL im guessing ur from the states? cuz im from canada and i have a 4.0 gpa with all AP senoir courses and temple, and rutgers rejected me... but ironically, utoronto, mac, and western accepted me..

  • I have to choose between McMaster, Ottawa, and Western by July (High School Student). So far I think this is my top choice.

  • I didnt get accepted....oh well. Im at a different University now.

  • just got accepted today :D

  • @veronicachic congrats, w hat was ur average!

  • @Toronto2245

    lol 78%

    =(

i got in for sociology so it doesn't have to be too high

  • @veronicachic Nice! I'm probably applieng for life sciences (but im grd 11 rite now), they said mid to high 80''s!! Gona be tough!

  • At Mac from 94-99. Been back 1x but basically remember layout although some stuff new. After hospital, buildings are basically science/tech related. Then u go past the residences & finally around 4:45 u pass the Divinity College on the left & Engineering on the right. (unless it's changed). When u talk about the older buildings they and further back are the soc sci/humanities buildings. . At 5:00 u have the soc sci/hum lib. on the left. Left as u exit goes to the stadium & bus. building

  • @darcyperkins Sorry, at 4:45 Divinity College on the right, Engineering on the left

  • hehe it looks like a prison camp to me :D

  • doss anyone n=know what the cut off average is for social sciences a MAC ?

  • @laadyyGee check the site

  • looks like you went through a stop sign at 1 minute and 5 seconds in this video.

  • i'm going here in september (for school) :)

  • @withoutlover911 I believe the average cut off is around 85 or 86, but you never know you could get in. I guess it really depends on what the averages of other students applying are. Check out mcmasters website, it's really great and you can get a lot of info about each program. Actually med rad is something I have really been looking into and researching.

  • The best choice I made in life was to come to MAC for engineering.

  • @adeelb06

hey i too got acceptd for an engineering course in mcmaster and i most probably be starting in au/sept

hw is the campus life and the teaching?? are the professors really helpful ??

    thnx

  • @sportsangel247 Hey welcome to Mac Eng. Campus life is awesome at mac. The prof's are pretty decent but they get better once u go in upper years. Piece of advice, if u wana do very good in first year, make sure u pick hard working friends.

  • @adeelb06 Does Mc Master offer BBA program?

  • @johnson32667 Hey,

I'm not in the business faculty, but I'm pretty sure Mac offers BBA.

  • Ok guys

I want to apply to mcmaster and i want to know if anyone is studying medicine over there.

  • Thank you !

  • i got into mac and calrleton n wateerloo.. any advice on choosing? appreciate sum help..anyone:)

  • @moviegurl16 What Program? That's What It Breaks Down To..

  • @browntechguys for waterloo its honours arts ; mcmaster its humanities and carleton its policy management and public affairs.. i hear for mac the humanities are underfunded but waterloo seems like more stricter on academics..

  • @moviegurl16 I'm More Into Sciences, But Yes You Are Correct, Waterloo Is Verily Stricter On The Academic Side Of Things When Compared To Mac/Carleton.

I Know More About Mac/Waterloo... Yes Waterloo Is Stricter But It's A Higher Regarded Uni. An Excellent Place To Find Out More Info Is

Studentawards...c0m.. or Macinsiders, Just Google Them.

  • i got accepted in Mcmaster engineering already, all i need to do is to choose between mcmaster and dal, though im still waitting for Carleton's answer

  • I cant decide where to go for engineering, Mcmaster or Dalhousie (nova Scotia), any thoughts?

  • @owdi2631992 I haven't heard of good engineering programs in Dalhousie, if you live in the GTA and want to move away from home but still live close enough to do the odd visit come to McMaster, we have a great Mechanical, Electrical, Bio-Elec, Materials and Physics Engineering. I will remind you it might be harder then Dalhousie to get into what Eng program you want because its general engineering first year but man is it fun here, the Red Suits run things, you find out later.....

  • you definitely missed the better half of campus!

  • my last name is mcmaster!!!lol

  • I am also considering McMaster for my PhD. Very nice video.

  • you missed the one stop sign haha

    but awesome vid!

im considering McMaster for nursing, but still rather biased of Western.

    hollyy

  • I go to mac :) and I'm currently in a clinical placement in st catharines. How coincidental.

  • a shame you didn't get out and walk, you missed most of the campus, its beautiful down by cootes paradise (the nature reserve)

  • ya, i know :( only did a brief tour while I was passing through
