I LOVE how inconsistent they are with warp. I assume the dialogue as to time it would take to get wherever is unedited... and yet, twas earlier in the show that it would take only the Enterprise a century to get home FROM ANOTHER GALAXY.

But then I suppose back when Kirk was around, Sybok hit the warp drive with a spanner enough to get them to the centre of the galaxy in half a day.

It makes Star Wars seem more consistent.
