i just want something that sounds good, has a 76-88 key range, and at least slightly weighted keys. i mainly want the dgx 505 or 500, but found out they no longer make them. i know how to play, i just dont know how to read music. i will definately need to have something that plays midi files and has that program that helps you learn the songs. the feature that i love about those models is the one where the song stops until you play the specific notes. that is a must for me
@dude754321 try the yamaha ez 20, 30, 150 200 250i or 300tv thies are worth looking at to teach you or 250i will play keyboard mania on computer througe usb port
i have a casio wk-1800. had it for a decade and i think its time to upgrade. im actually looking to buy the 500 or 505. it sounds good for the price, if i can get one for 300 or less
505 is an excellent keyboard. I only have 2 issues: The keys are not weighted so if you want to get the feel of a genuine piano I'd try something else. The 2nd issue is that if you want to play MIDI files then you need to buy a SmartMedia card which are no longer made. A lot of new keyboards have USB ports but of course this isn't an issue if you're not interested in MIDI files!
Hey I think this is really great music too, and it really is too bad that it's just stuck on a demo. I've been recently trying to figure it out, I don't don't suppose you have any clue on how to get the sheet music for it?
I didn't expect a comment so soon! I've managed to work out how to play the first minute of this but I don't think I can be bothered to transcribe it. If I could somehow get the demo audio file from the keyboard then I could probably get the sheet music from that, but I'm not sure that's even possible. If it works then you'll be the first one to know.

Good luck with finding the right one.
