i have a fully restored nitro hawk. took me about 2 months to get all the parts together to complete the car. it started out as a roller, and is now a well oiled machine. with the original traxxas .12 engine in it. i love this car. these cars are worth more as a shelf queen than as a driving car since the parts are very very rare.
i got one yesterday, almost done restoring it and I found a guy close to me with loads of parts for them.

You need a long crankshaft engine. Traxxas and OS make them or did, don't know if they still do. Search for them on Ebay or Google it.

Hi, yes they are vintage. Some are 15 or more years old. They can be worth between $100 to maybe $150.
