@Rastamanjungle have you ever played poker? you play against other players and yes there is skill involved, if you see one of these guys play against a total amateur (like you i guess..) then the pro's will win 99 out of 100 times. but ofcourse there is luck involved but if you start with AA and you play against someone with 2-7 ofsuit the the 2-7 needs 2 2's/2 7's or 1 2 and 7 to win and that chance is small you can calculate howmuch chance you have to win

2 outer is pretty brutal. But the worst beat I've ever seen was a board with QQ88 at the turn card, guy with 8 pushes all in and gets called by a Q. Dude catches his 8 on the river to make quads. Literally the only card in the deck that could win it for him. If I had the Q I would have been so pissed.

@aldfjak It's only possible for a hand to go for twenty minutes is every single player gets "Time". If a player hasn't made their mind up after 2 minutes, Time is called granting the player an additional 60 seconds to make a decision. After this time period, the supervisor can declare the hand dead.
A twenty minute hand (especially from the flop to the river) is incredibly unlikely.
