  • bellos carros que aun siguen funcionando por la gran necesidad de transporte en cuba. Todo por culpa de fidel castro

  • Wow. Some of those cars are so old, they're worth more than new cars.

  • I notice when I was there all the cars were manuals the bus, minivans everything !

  • A lot of Cuban cars have been retrofitted with Lada engines as they are easier to find. Would be interesting to see some of the resourcefully built cars there!

  • I hate Castro but love the cars

  • Accere consorte, en el Malecon, que dias mas bonitos; pero que hambre. Fidel Castro mama pinga.

  • Cuba Noire

  • Why we have had a trade embargo with Cuba for so long escapes me.

We could sell them some well-deserved new American cars, while they sell us their classics....whata great deal that would be!

  • almost all of those cars are made by general motors, CHEVY, GMC, PONTIAC, BUICK AND OLDSMOBILE!

there arnt too many working dodges of fords still running on the original powertrains!

that should tell you which company makes the most reliable vehicles!!

    GM!!!

its like going back in time!

  • @yourallbrainwashed Well the cuban people are very efficient we will make any car run again with anything trust me Trans breaks no problem we just make one by hand.

  • @yourallbrainwashed

That's a pretty bias statement. American cars from the 30's - 90's have pretty much the same reliability and the same style of engineering. Simplicity at it's best. But what I'm wondering is why were most of the V8's removed in place of Lada engines? Did it have something to do with petrol prices or what? So far I haven't seen a single cuban car with a 283 v8 or even an original v6 or 4 cylinder. Oh well Cubans still have the best culture in north america in my opinion!

  • Wut is the car at 0:55?

  • @TheGrungeManiak 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air

  • its because their communist

  • It's good to see a classic on the road every once in awhile.

But when every single car in your country is a classic.

    Somethings Wrong.

  • My grandparents left a 1955 Cadillac Fleetwood behind . My grandfather died in June 1960 and my grandmother fled a week after.

  • viva la cuba!

  • some sound would be nice

  • wow.... so this is communism eh? shitty cars shitty homes poor people, ahhh capitalism is great!

  • @Xeidasx Watch the documentary "Yank Tanks". Havana's outer suburbs has neighborhoods that look like any middle class neighborhood in Miami or L.A.

Just because a car is old doesn't make it "shitty". These cars are beautiful, and the fact that their owners can't get parts because of the U.S. embargo makes it all the more amazing how well they're maintained.

Ask a formerly middle-class American whose job has moved overseas and whose home is being foreclosed on how great capitalism is right now.

  • @artistmac do you plan on moving overseas?

or do you mean your job went overseas?

I am very sorry you losing your home, things

    suck now.

  • @The391956--I strongly agree. With the economy and as bad as it is now there are opportunities practically nowhere. At least employers were looking for help this year, but the job growth was minimal. Nobody ever thinks they could be unemployed for a few years until it actually happens :-(

  • im going to cuba just to see if someone would trade me my car for somthibg like that

  • @manbearpig3575

so your going to cuba to trade

your car for one of those nice

classics. they will be glad to

get a 10 year old used car and

you can get a nice classic

    worth thousands once it comes

    to your country.

  • @The391956 ye we both be happy lol
