Hi Guys we canyoned the Dollar glen last week really enjoyed it. We will be adding some bolts into the main waterfall to make it a little easiers to retrieve rope. Are you aware of the british canyoning association. We are ping together courses, meets and tops of rivers.

@VerticalDescents Hey there guys, thanks for the video- you can actually jump in from the central rock at Witches Cauldron or slide down- it is usually a good 9ft deep. I used to drop in from an overhanging tree as a skinny 12 year old! Watch for biting midgies of a summer.
@11conorh Your comment is rather short and confusing. If it is referring to the ba's then they are used more to protect you from bangs and falls, rather then the floatation of the device. It also helps keep heat in at the core.
@11conorh With winter wetsuits and cag tops and all the other clothing its not as cold as you would think. Its the hands that are the main problem. hard to use the ropes affectively when cold. The water would be around 4 Degrees Celsius
Lilos, not just for the beach but always for the pools. It was our first time down this gorge, didnt think the sugarbowl was so deep, next time i think a jump from the top will do.

We used to jump into these holding onto lilos. I think it was called the Devil's sugarbowl. I wouldn't do it now!

The water was quite cold but the wetsuits and buoyancy aids help keep us warm.
The coldest bit is going down the waterfalls and water goes down your neck sometimes.
Great fun though.
