I had this game, but I couldn't wait for the new song pack, but the second song pack looks great, I should get it. Walking on Sunshine and Love Shack, man I'm sorry for selling you baby.

I'm thinking that I'll have to get this pretty soon. Even though the game doesn't quite feel the same without the actual maracas, that songlist had me drooling when I played my sister's copy of it. It seems really difficult to adjust, but did you have any real issues with it or has it worked out for you well?

I'm seriously hoping that they consider a motion plus sequel. It'd be a day one purchase for me given that they nothing somehow gets screwed up.

I don't have the Maracas and it's still enjoyable. Y'know some places bundle the game with shell maracas, right?

Issues = Well, going from Normal to Hard is a HUGE jump. The controls aren't 100% up to snuff. I'm still trying to experiment with the controls. I still find the game fun despite this. I actually find it challenging because of the control issue. Super Hard on some songs is ridiculous for the controls. Anything else you wanna know?

I was talking about it not using something like the original maracas from the Dreamcast and arcade game, not the plastic shells I see in the stores. I would think they'd make it even harder to play. I've heard that some people can actually play super hard pretty well with the remotes though, so that's still got me on the fence about it. Oh and how is DLC handled.  Is it just stored on Wii memory or can it be transferred to SD cards?

Yeah I know what you meant but I still thought I'd mention the shell casings.

DLC = CAN be transferred. I constantly switch it back and forth. Too bad it can run off SD Cards. It's all in the practice with Super Hard I guess. You gotta figure out what's right for optimal performance with the controls. It's not a broken game.. it's just a tad hampered, I guess. And if you're an impatient gamer (UNLIKE myself) then you'll get frustrated and pass it off as such - "broken".

It's the first Wii game (for retail, I say that to exclude WiiWare) to utilize the Pay and Play service. GHWT and Rock Band 2 followed suit. I don't get how someone would NOT know, but anyway....

Since DDRHP2?! Wow. You're missing out on a lot. Whatever. That's not my problem. I'm just glad I use my Wii regularly and I for one am not out of the loop with anything relating to Nintendo.

p.s. i play on level hard most of the time, i can play and clear on super hard level but i prefer the hard level!

Depends. I alternate between Hard and Super Hard. Much like in DDR, some Experts I can handle and do well at but some are just out of my league.

Personally, I'm in no rush. I've been quite patient with them. I'm sure they'll fix the situation soon.

I agree with you there. Walking on Sunshine and Can't Stop are awesome, though. I'm getting a Wii for Christmas. X3 Can't wait to play this game.

Can't Stop IS awesome. So is Jet's song and Mambo Mambo is great too. I Want Candy is okay I suppose but I like the cover in Hottest Party 2 better. :P

For Sonic it's: Low Rider (like that song) and I forget the other two... Check my Song List vid and look at the top left for the stage that looks like a portion of Green Hill with Rings.

Also, the new song, Rockafeller Skank, uses the Sonic stage. The song from the 2nd Song Pack, Love Shack, uses Ulala's stage.

Awesome. X3 I got my Wii for Christmas and this game worked perfectly to begin with but then after a while the controls just sort of... broke. XD Very badly. I still love it, though. X3

The controls take a while to get used to. Hard and Super Hard really are difficulties that are true to their name.

And yeah, I love the game too. The flaws are overpowered by the overall fun and staying power found within the game.

I would but none of my consoles are online. :( And I found out the controls wouldn't work properly because I was holding the remotes in the wrong hands without realising it. XD It also won't work properly if a certain remote is switched on first... it's so fussy! XD

I love Vamos A Carnaval on Hard Mode. X3 It's so fun. I have a Perfect on it. And I think it was just pure luck that I managed to unlock Mexican Flyer first time I tried. =/

Get the Nintendo Wi-fi Connector (USB) if you can. That's what I use and it's (almost) never let me down. I'm not saying I haven't had problems with it but it gets the job done and gives me a perfect connection with my modem. :D
