  • are they good offroad? please tell me!

  • awesome car what a luxury........coool......

I love this car.i wish i had this car so that i can take for 10000 kms long journey although it is v8 cool car luxurious features automatic and electronic i really love this car

  • Wow I just watched the video on the Cadillac Escalade Platinum ESV and boy am I disappointed with low quality in this Sequoia, and thats being compared to a GM! Toyota needs to get rid of the GM disease as I call it, and get their act together.

  • No intelligent key.

  • How many miles for the sequoia?

  • is the sequoia same as the landcruiser?

  • @subzerized Nope,Two diffrent SUV's...the Landcruiser is a much older. older nameplate.

  • I sat in one. OMG IT IS HUGE!!! LOVE IT!

  • Sorry, i'm not speak English ¿How much does it cost?

  • @alejogd119 30 thousand dollar 22 thousand euro

  • One thing you forgot to mention about the Sequoia and its starter....it comes with a starter hold feature so you can turn the ignition and not have to hold it down until it starts. Many of new vehicles today have adapted this feature, but too many people do not know about it. Otherwise, very nice video!

  • @wilsonkm Tiptronic starting. not sure of correct spelling

  • Very nice but their is one thing missing and that's led taillights.

  • please stop sayin "how is it going". it"s so boring and sounds bad

  • Wow this car has a ton of features, some features that even a rolls Benz or bentley don't have. Should have xenon headlights though

  • Front looks like a tundra and rear looks like a highlander

  • Please do one on a 2011 sienna

  • @homosareidiotsPERIOD Oh I know. its just an idiot, thats all it is!

  • What's the name of the song when he is demonstrating the radio (6:17)

  • Apartment building on wheels.

  • GEO METRO PLEASE!!!

  • nice car

  • @NattDogg01 the suburban I thought only holds 8. 2 in front. Three in middle. Three in third row. Same as the sequoia

  • I have to say that this probably doesn't go very far on a tank of gas with only a 25 gallon fuel tank. Our 2011 Suburban has a 35 gallon tank and can go almost 600 miles on a tank of gas. Of course ours gets like almost 20 MPGs too.

  • @NattDogg01 Haters gotta hate. (it's kind of obvious too, since you brought up your Suburban for comparrison). Large SUV's don't ever go as far (with the exception of flex fuel and hybrids). I have to say that you could have bought a better SUV with the money spent on your Suburban.

  • @Retrospec001 Well first off I made a typo on my comment, ours is a 2007, not a 2011. But we really like our Suburban. Not that I don't like the Sequioa, the 5.7 litre engine is a beast compared to our 5.3, however our Suburban gets 20 MPGs, holds 9 people, and, like stated previously, can go farther on a tank of gas. We have always had Suburban and we always get the new body styles when the release. Hence the reason we have a 2007. The Sequioa is still a nice SUV though.

  • good to see that not every 2011 vehical has push to start...kinda getting old

  • Comment removed

  • Toyota should really work on the interior of the Sequoia.....i mean this is a platinum, top of the line and it looks plain and simple

  • I really like the Sequoia......lots of power from the iforce v8....I know the Ford Expedition doesn't have as much power, but 300hp still does it for it. It can tow 9200lb properly equipped, but Ford should really make the Expedition more powerful. Now as far as materials and luxuriousness, the Expedition wins in my book with the King Ranch and Limited....but that still doesnt make up for the lack of power...ford step up and put the 6.2 that the f-150 has in it

  • Is Unacceptable the use of hard plastics allaround by Toyota

  • @barloc123 - I agree! I was in a 2011 Tundra the other day (same dash) and not at all impressed by the cheap gray cheap plastic panel surrounding the instrument clusters... you push it and it pops like popcorn.

  • he should have pressed the panic button

  • Toyota styling is so mind numbingly bland.

  • my god i dont think this car would fit down the street where i live! no wonder we dont sell them here

  • I like the Armada Platinum, but the new Toyota SUV's are getting much wider now. I saw a 4runner (new one) on the road the other day and it's huge, like a GX470 by Lexus.

  • @toyota4life94 DID YOU EVER FIX A LAMBORGHINI OR A MERCEDES BENZ NO YOU DINT SO YOU WOULDNT NOW WHAT CAR IS GOOD TOYOTA IS HORSE BULLSHIT

  • hey kyle why dont you guys purchase this as the family vehicle?

  • Awesome videos Kyle!!! Motor Trend should hire you!

  • @trollsRstupididiots

Will you stop stalking me for gods sake???? You are the obvious troll. I leave your ass alone and you come again and stalk me?

God. Get laid or something. Oh wait, I forgot; your a youtube troll. You couldn't get laid if your life depended on it

  • Keep up the GREAT work Kyle!

  • Amazing truck.. im very impressed this thing is not only bigger.. but it's also full of optionals.. even the navi with DV player for rear passengers and full of nice ideas. ONCE AGAIN THIS WAS AMAZING, LOVING THIS SUV.

  • what does the recycle button in cars ???

  • @Josephalosaurus Re circulates the air in the vehicle and filters it instead of bringing in outside air

  • @saabkyle04 doesnt that save gas?

  • @saabkyle04 can u do a review of the chevy 1989 camaro its a great car and before i get it i need a video from you

  • @saabkyle04 PLZ DO A TOYOTA AVALON ANY YEAR WOULD BE FINE

  • @saabkyle04 can you make the land rover evoque

  • what is that thing on the left window of the second row?

  • @azerbaijan93 its the window sticker, tells the list of features and the price and gas mileage

  • @azerbaijan93 At my local dealer, it's a little box that they keep the keys to the vehicle in.

  • @moparsrock thanks man!

  • sweet v8

  • kyle, can u show how the headlight washers work ? thumps up so kyle can see if its a good ida

  • @SLRengines i agree and u spelled idea wrong lol but its ok

  • Ahh I love the rings when you open the Switch!

  • is there any new car which has no electric windows???

  • Is it me or do the inside rear-view mirror and the sun visors look like they came out of the Chrysler parts bin from the late 90's- early 2000's?

  • @pskittle488 I was just about to comment on that too.

  • I feel bad for whoever has to gas this bad boy up. A 26 plus gallon gas tank?!?!?! DAAAAAAAAAYUUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Rileyfree thats pretty much the standard for SUV's/trucks of this size. I know some trucks have even bigger tanks. I think the older 3/4 ton suburban had a 42 gallon tank.

  • Comment removed

  • @kendrickevans301 wow you really don't know shit about trucks do you? 3/4 ton = a ranger or a S10? 3/4 ton doesn't equal the weight of the truck, it equals payload. Typical 3/4 ton trucks are the F250, Silverado 2500, and Ram 2500. AKA HEAVY DUTY trucks. Trucks like the Ranger and S10 are just considered compact trucks. And FYI they never made a 1 ton suburban. I love people who talk out of their ass lololololol

  • @92ASC I know it means payload....yada yada, 1/4 ton equal compact pickup, half ton equals a 1500 pickup, or in the ford's case, 150, 3/4 ton is a 2500 or 250, 1 ton is 3500 or 350, and 1 1/2 ton is the ford f-450, forgive me i was reading to quick and got the configs missed up

  • @kendrickevans301 You know what, I got 1/4 missed with 3/4.....forgive me, the ranger, s10 etc. is considered a 1/4 ton picup, and yeah, the suburban came in half ton and 3/4 configs...forgive my confusion

  • @kendrickevans301 it's all good bro, I just hate when people try calling other people out when they are blatantly wrong. I was never mad haha. At least you were able to admit your mistake instead of starting a bitch fit like 95% of the idiots on here.

  • @92ASC yeah lol...I understand

  • Comment removed

  • Kyle, please try to do a 2007-2011 acura mdx

  • idk why but your videos take longer to load than others.

  • kyle can you please do a in depth tour of the 2011 rolls-royce ghost??

  • @096ist Check his facebook page, he has one coming out next week along with a phantom.

  • Saabkyle04 is the king of car tours even though I'm not a fan of new Toyotas. Wait until Intechdude300 gets his hands on one of these, the dash will be pulled apart in a few seconds.

  • Beautiful interior! To be fair Kyle, I like the past generation Sequoia exterior(the one your Mom has that you've videoed.)

  • NISSAN BEATS ALL

  • @wagerman55 nissan sucks ford and chevy are beast not ur little japan peices of crap

  • @TheFordguy98 I SURE WANNA LOSE ALL MY POWER REALLY FAST

  • nice vehicle!!!

  • I love my sequoia its great

  • I love the Sequoia I just think that the wood work is much better in the highlander.

  • Honda would destroy this if they made full sized SUVs with v8s, but sadly they don't

  • hey kyle u usually say the mileage in your videos but in this one you forgot to say how much mileage it has.

  • i liked the chevy suburban, but here in el salvador, bouth are too expensives

  • Audi R8 2011 or 2012 moddel!

  • @toyota4life94 The Yaris is EXTREMELY reliable, the redesigned 2012 Yaris is supposed to be the leader of the sub-compact segment, I can't wait to see it and check it out! My dad traded his 2007 Toyota Camry LE v6 for the 2011 XLE because the LE had 267,XXX miles never had a problem jut replaced the tires, battery, and oil, fill it up with gas and it was ready to go across the country, AGAIN!

  • these are built on the Tundra Chassis also they use the same iForce 5.7L V8 Engine also.

  • @toyota4life94 - Great Job explaining that! we have a 2010 Toyota Camry SE with a 4cylinder w/ 10000 mi, 2011 Toyota Camry XLE v6 w/ 37000 mi, a 2010 Toyota Tundra Platinum w/ 29000 mi, and a 2010 Toyota Sequoia SR5 5.7L 4WD w/ 59000 mi, on the other hand we traded a 2007 Chevy Tahoe LS w/ 71000 mi for the Sequoia, let me tell you that the Tahoe was in the shop every 15000 mi. My neighbor would buy nothing but a GM product, he looked at a Camry, got a 2011 Toyota Camry LE with the 4 cylinder!

  • Bolt-on the TRD Supercharger and cat-back exhaust and I will drive from Ontario, Canada to Charlotte just to buy it lol... :D

  • scofield's car.

  • you guys have bbc1 radio?

  • i thot u said LEATHER FUCK IT SEATS! at 11:35 lmao

  • But this truck doesn't keep it's kbb value. I'd rather have a range rover, Audi q7,or even a escalade. But not the platinum one because spending 100,000 on an Cadillac is redicioulous

  • @MegaBlackberryuser I'd prefer all those cars too but for reasons like looks and power. But a platinum escalade is pretty tight

  • The navi placement is truly amazing. Congrats to the interior designers.

  • look, how outdated this car is - it doesn't have even a electric engine for cooling fan! Even Tahoe has this "up-to-date" feature

  • this just screams GRRR!

  • 100% better then a Tahoe and actually competes with the Escalade..and its a TOYOTA!! XD

now the Lexus LX570..in a whole different level then American Luxury SUVs

  • @thehulk3010 it's only in a different league in interior fit and finish. American luxury SUVs look better and unlike toyota are for people who care about cars

  • @TheDesignerAJ a LX570 is WAAAYYY better then a Escalade or Navigator..dont even start on looks fit and finish and capability ...the Lexus does donuts on the US SUVs..the only difference between a escalade and Tahoe is the price difference..same engine same seats same everything..nothing improved but more chrome outside..yeah thats worth the extra 20k XD

  • @thehulk3010 i don't get it u didn't give a reason why the escalade is worse. the escalade looks pimpin and that's all i want from it. toyotas are for moms and epa people

  • i want a 4wd drive one

  • YESSSS!!!! i have been wanting u to do this car for a long time

  • Do a 370z touring!!

  • Do a review of the corvette next!

  • @ToyotaforCorolla Only moms and people who need cargo space like to get minivans. This is a man's people/things mover. But it's still a Toyota so it's for people who don't care about cars. Get a QX or an Escalade

  • @ToyotaforCorolla

Most people buy this because it is a BEAST of a machine. No one is really cross shopping this and the Sienna.

I hate this thing. Too damn big and eco-unfriendly. Tells the world that you own it.

  • @ToyotaforCorolla some people also like to save their dignity from driving a mini-van.

  • @ToyotaforCorolla some people dont want to drive around in a minivan

  • @ToyotaforCorolla Maybe it's the fact that this one is, or looks like an SUV that attracts people.

  • @ToyotaforCorolla Yes, but you have to remember, you have people out there who wouldn't be caught dead driving a minivan. I am one of them. I would take any SUV over any Minivan any day. For one, optional 4x4, Once you have a 4x4 vehicle, you want to keep at least 1 4x4. Just in case. Extra power when needed, you'll never know when you might need it. You never know if a bad flood or snow storm might come. Basically, if you're in a large city go for a minivan. Rural area, get an SUV.

  • @ToyotaforCorolla The Sienna is FWD or a very FWD biased AWD while this is RWD or selectable AWD.

  • @ToyotaforCorolla You forgot one thing . That the sienna is ugly and the sequoia looks better when customized and towing is just another plus and you Get more respect on the road for having a big suv. I don't know about the interior.

  • @ToyotaforCorolla I like the sequoia but I would take a 2011 sienna I love that new 3.5 V6 toyota has been using

  • @schindlerman96

Yeah. The 3.5L V6 does 0-60 in sub 6.0 for the Camry and like 6.8 for the Sienna and it gets like 6-7 MPG better than this 5.7L V8.

Minivan and all but id take the Sienna. its just a better rounded machine

  • @ToyotaforCorolla or they might be 6 cylinder phobic

  • @ToyotaforCorolla There are a number of reasons why one might choose the Sequoia over Sienna. If you lived in an area with dirt anf farm roads, a Sienna would fall apart immediately. Some people live where the ground clearance is manditory with an 7-8 passanger vehicle. Also, the Sequoia can tow more and has ALOT more torque so it can handel a full load alot beter then the Sienna. Sequoias are still one of Toyota's best current products along side the 4runner.

  • @Motorfordtoyota

"Sequoias are still one of Toyota's best current products along side the 4runner."

    how about Land Cruiser?

  • @NukeDukemTrololo Land Cruisers are amazing, but not as main stream.

  • so what's the point on buying an Escalade or Land Rover, Infiniti QX, Land Rover or Infiniti when you can buy this? Its got everything, maybe not beautifully done as those SUVs, but veeery good nonetheless.

  • @toyota4life94 lol! Did not know about that Camry.

  • Ugh don't buy that one. May be a carfax 1 owner but they were a smoker (ashtray cup option and cig lighter) yuck.

  • the front end of this thing looks like a tundra lol! great vid anyway!

  • I am usually prefer german cars, as in the uk, we don't get luxury vehicles from Japanese brands. This car is much nicer than any german 4x4. I really like this car, and i do like the size, it would be much cheaper to run in the usa as fuel is very cheap there! But most people don't even need a big car so......

  • @omendark123 Fuel is not cheap here lol. Also the quality of these suck They are nice but that is just a fact tha tyou can not look over. lol

  • @GmTruckCarLove Quality of the cars? They don't suck? It looks great..... Fuel IS cheap, it only costs you $3 per gallon. It costs us $8 per gallon!

  • @omendark123 Your economy is worked around it plus your gallons are fuller. The Quality is super bad. Hard painted dash, lots of parts that will come off, switch gear are cheap and so on.

  • @GmTruckCarLove Nope, that figure, is equally compared to the american gallon. And it's not as bad as the old m-class, where there is loads of soft touch plastic!

  • What's that hole in the black grille?

  • @ATL809 i think it's an adaptive cruise control system

  • The squarish thing to the right of the black grill on the front of the car is the radar sensor to the dynamic cruise control.

  • Comment removed

  • I was just at this dealership yesterday! I live in Marvin (next to Waxhaw).

  • rwd in an suv? wtf?

  • better mileage than the previous gen

  • How many cup holders do you need

  • some of this stuff you could really live with out

  • The interior styling looks more like a dodge.

  • nice suv.

  • Probably one of my most favorite SUVs in the world, next to the 4Runner!! Its massive 5.7 doesnt even struggle with a load. And its the most reliable! I wish you could have done a Driving clip!

  • Does your mom still have a Sequoia and does your dad have a permanent car yet?

  • woodgrain is ugly ass fuck !

  • @gangbangerTR Thats like the only downfall of the Sequoia, the fuck ugly fake plastic wood trim!

  • Comment removed

  • toyota land cruiser better than this

  • Kyle,I'm patiently waiting for your Rolls Royce Phantom's tour....YEAHHHHHH!!

  • its huge

  • that is the biggest toyota ever

  • You would think 4wd would be standard on such a large SUV.

  • This car is just too big, I can't imagine someone needs such a vehicle..

  • @HoccyB That's Americans for you :P I don't see why it needs a 5.7L engine either 0_0

  • @04smallmj Well I understand the 5.7L engine, I want that much power in my car haha :P V8 and RWD is like a dream combination, but it is the huge pile of junk on top of the drivetrain that makes me wonder :)

  • @04smallmj well its meant for people with large families, hence the passenger mirror. it needs that huge engine in case you want to tow stuff and pull a large caravan or another car while you go on a vacation with your large family. especially with the fuel prices here in america, people like to take advantage of them and buy these huge cars and drive around in them and make themselves look tough and commanding. so its actually very practical among some people.

  • @hailfire82997 Aah, OK, thanks dude

  • fucking toyota , i h8 toyota

  • Very nice!

  • No 4X4 capability?? hmm

  • @Homer8YourTube you can get it though

  • Toyota needs a more truck-like dash

  • I was raised on Chevrolet and Ford vehicles my whole life and am about as southern/American as they come. I just can't bring my self to be the stereotypical brand loyalist though. There is something truly beautiful about this SUV, and Toyota/Lexus makes some beautiful vehicles no doubt. A true vehicle enthusiast appreciates a beautiful vehicle no matter what the make though.

  • LOL "sonar", what next? depth cahrges?

  • Just looking at the inside from a video, it looks like interior quality is going down, can't really tell if it's that or just the looks of it, all the insides of new vehicles look the same, just too bland now. Very nice truck!

  • i know you will say "prices change all the time...." you can say "as of (date) this vehicle is priced at ...

  • these come in 4wd dont they?

  • @cowboykota1 yes

  • whats the name of song 6:26 - 6.:47 ?

  • So, (since this is not a Toyota dealer), this is either from an unsold leftover stock from the previous year dumped onto an independent dealer's lot, -or if not-, than the new owner had a quick change of heart and he dumped his new purchase himself. In either case, it is quite telling.

  • @toyota4life94 the average Toyota is fucking junk ... that just my opinion I only positive thing i have to say about Toyota is there pickup Trucks rock other then that Lexus maybe the same company but there vehicles are way better in quality I guess you pay for what you get

  • Please, do a Toyota/Scion IQ tour.

  • very nice video!
