@RushRules4 Zooropa is a great album. Pop may be a bit jarring at first but there are some really great songs on there. All That You Can't Leave Behind has a few of their biggest hits on it. Bomb isn't very good in my view. No Line on the Horizon is very interesting and worth a listen.

They are getting older and some of the creativity is gone but they still make great music.

@RushRules4 everything they do is good; they transcend themselves and reinvent their work, specially the last album NLOTH; no other bands are actually doing this_ bands of their ages I mean.... I'm 43 and I'm a U2 fan since my 18... so, they never desappointed me, but HTDAAB didn't have very extraordinary songs except vertigo and sometimes you can't make it on your own, but i'm only a fan who loves music, and their music :)

@RushRules4 I started loving them with How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb so I have a soft spot for their newer stuff. But nothing matches the energy of their older stuff. Start with the new stuff, then go straight to Achtung Baby. Once that album sets in, you're set for all the others and for life! : )

That's a very ignorant statement.Would you like to try to back it up.They may not be that good any more, but think of all that they have done.Their list of good songs is practically endless. Yes, I know Pink Floyd are better than U2. U2 were perhaps more successful because they often took the safer root when writing/recording music. They did & do whats popular. Before they used experiment a bit. They used to do songs, like "With or Without....", which some people might find depressing and others might love. I've been a huge U2 fan since 1981. They are definitely the biggest band in the world now. The last three albums are technically perfect. But they have lost their edge (no pun intended).
