It isn't that you cant run to the outside you just don't know how to run the ball that well and that's why they wont give you opportunities to score rushing because they don't trust that you can score it for them.

They are passing more because you're doing great when you catch. If you miss passes on purpose and make good yards on yards, they will run it more. And if you're on the goal line and they call a pass, you call a timeout and most of the time it will change to a run.

Instead of going to your favorite team you should pick a school that mostly runs plays that revolve around your postion and/or needs help at that position which equals more play time. Like Virgina Tech is a one back offence and run the majority of the time. Miami is a pro style which "balance" out the attack but mainly passes. I went to TCU as a HB and dominated. And sorry but the D line doesnt cheat really you just dont run right. You miss the whole everytime you get the ball look for the gap.
