  • FREAKING SLOW DOWN!

  • Aw man, I hate Barre chords.

  • god u stink!

  • this was really great but im in need of a strum pattern. im kinda just playing by ear but i like your pattern better. thanks :)

  • Thanks for the vid helped alot.

  • thank you!!!

    helped alot

  • awesome!! that helped alot.

one thing tho, cudnt u just fingerpick the strings u want to play? but then again u wudnt get that "Dave Sound" :)

  • You certainly could, that gives it kind of a neat sound also though.

  • true, but its a lil plain if u listen to the song first then do the finger picking... it doesnt seem as "full of sound" if u get what im saying

  • thanks dude, very helpful!

  • thanks for the quick lesson i picked this up quick!

  • does anyone know where i can find tim reynolds part to this song? i would love to play his part in a duet but i cannot find anything on what tim plays

  • Not a bad lesson. Dave plays it a little different, with the first and third chords of the verse played with his third and fourth fingers. That makes more of a hammer style sound to it, and makes the transition flow better. Much trickier to mute though. Good work man.

  • You're absolutely right. This was just a little simpler, especially if a guitar player is just starting out.

  • Thats eerily ironic, I bought that guitar the day before watching your tutorial! I love it too haha.

  • Would you happen to be playing a Takamine EG341SC? And great lesson btw! =]

  • That would be exactly correct.

  • Cheers dude. I likes the extra methods you use. Makes it a bit easier for me.

    Nice one.
