When my wife was diagnosed with cancer I was advised to go on meds because anxiety was affecting health and my work performance. Turns out I am allergic to Zoloft. If any of you are ever asked to start taking an SSRI, run in the other direction as fast as you can. You do not want to know what withdrawal symptoms from psych drugs feels like.
That's insightful. I occasionally get panic attacks and they always seem to happen when I'm eating with other people usually in a public restaurant, or in a private dining room with numerous other people conversing. Everything seems amplified, as you described it, and I immediately lose my appetite and start to feel extremely uncomfortable and anxious. Sometimes I start to sweat and I always get the feeling that the only way I can start to feel better is to get out of there and be by myself.
sad thing is how much I see this in people on here... I truly hope they do something before they are vonhelton.. he is a clear example of what happens when you do not get it under control
May not like taking drugs, but I was suicidal, and I started taking Abilify, and I feel so much better for it. I dont have crying spells anymore. Im not a zombie. I dont sleep all the time anymore. People have noticed my improved mood to.
panic attacks suck, i have them very often and no one in my family understands whats going on with me. it got bad enough to where i dropped out of school my 10th grade year and now i feel like im trapped in my house. i want to do things but i cant seem to make myself because im so afraid of having a panic attack.
Very enlightening! Sounds like you have good doctors. You are right, I saw your vids years ago and could not tell that you were overly concerned about the danger of the situation. Brave man!
Good choice not to take brain altering drugs. Stay well.
You are going to die at some point - accept it. Take a trip to a nursing home and see how the body breaks down with age and how you can potentially end up. You may end up not wanting to get old!! lol!! We age, the body wears out and we die - that is the price of admission for life. Repeat this phrase: "It is what it is". You can't control everything so just roll with it.
These videos are truly enlightening, man. Hearing you share these person feelings and stories has been amazing. My mother is agoraphobic, so I understand completely. I have had a little bit of it when I was younger, and I still have issues going long distances by myself. I'm slightly afraid of driving, and I have odd little quarks and worries. I understand completely, brother. You're not alone at ALL!
i got that anxiety. wont drive. wont go to a barber wont go to restraunts. none of that shit. srsly like u dropped my docs and just read them aloud... minus the gullbladder.
Very good video. Thanks for sharing.

Well your all good now, right?
I remember your vlog from the hospital
You did seem extra chipper
I made the mistake of mixing a very strong coffee for myself a few weeks ago
(I'm not a regular coffee person) and I was so amped I was just going nuts
My mind was running wild and it was all I could do to focus on simple tasks
About four hours later I finally winded down to normal speed
No more three spoons of instant coffee in one cup
