Which reminds me, would you object to me doing a fan video of one of your songs? I know that you wouldn't benefit from it financially, but it might help promotions!
Wow - this kicks ass...awesome beat, and crazy visuals (which I always love). As I said before, wish I could see you live, but I'll probably have to wait until my next trip to Europe, or until you come to the USA. In the meantime, I'll stick with YouTube or your main site.
Nice - all around solid video with strong, frenetic song and good bass line. I especially like the use of stylized concert footage blended with select stock footage - the Jack Lalane footage seems to beckon us in to tell the underlying story, fueled by the lyrics of the song. Thanks for sharing mrmeeble - always worth the looksee.
This is like what would happen if Trent Reznor stopped being so angsty and had someone with a more melodic voice singing. I'm lovin the heavy synth effect on the music to this. I'll have to check more of their stuff.
This whole video along with the song, this is a beautiful work of art. The lyrics are so honest it touches me to the core. I've commented this before, a year ago when I first was messaged by someone random to you. Now that I look at the film, it looks like closed eye visuals you get from sleep deprivation and doing various um, you know... Was that what you were going for?
Anyways, this is an amazing piece. I hope you are still actively writing and performing. I'd love to see you at one of these.
Best impromptu dance session today to this song that i've had in months. been pregnant and miserable and I've felt good today and I got to dance to this..... anyways gosh I love meeble. I miss you. I come back to you. hear you again. then i listen to your songs over n over. esp Until I Grasp the Second, this one, and I fell through.. It's always very inspiring for me, thank you.might not seem like you inspire others but you really do me and I feel pushed to my heights with your music..
Ok...this an example of vocoder used tastefully. In today's pop music it is used ad nausem to ill effect, yet some how you pull it off artfully. I really dig this gently lilting tune. Thank you for adding me.
Devin/Mr. Meeble. I can remember seeing some of those video clips on public service promos, and the 8-track commercial is also very familiar. Where the heck did you find all that stuff? Thanks for bringing back flashbacks from my 1970s childhood.
I tried to order your album from your website, but it would not accept my credit card! Have you had your album pressed on a disc yet? I would prefer a hard copy anyway. Either way great tracks, love the spaced-out groove.
@portugesebreakfast - the CDs are out of print and hard to find. Our site uses PayPal - not sure why it wouldn't accept your CC. Try again? I know it works...
You guys are a living breathing working band,Mr.Meeble. How many other bands or musicians have gotten to where you guys are at?Both talent-wise and popularity-wise? Distinctive yet familiar sound you have. As another commented , The Cure comes to mind but not overpoweringly.

Really surprised that 123 people dislike this. I've watched this video probably 100 times or more and never get tired of it. Love the imagery, and the song itself.
Nice video and very good Music :-) COngratulations !!! Please, can i ask You for a technical suggestion ? It seems You're using Orange vocoder in real time for Your vocal performance ... So is it effective even in Live performance, without latency problems ? If it is so, GREAT ! I'd like to use it live (with Ableton), too ... Thank You
work on some filters for the voice, it sounds sad which I think is the point, but its far too distanced from the song itself. Needs something more that kind of clings on to the track.
SOLID , Every time you guys send me a new vid it is really a fuckin' treat , thanks and your really have slick dynamics. You guys really have a great quality of making your music like a journy. As always I'm am impressed.
At first I was leery of clicking the link to a random video sent to me as I usually am for they generally are just awful. However, I'm very happy to be able to say that I'm glad I clicked the link this time. The video pairs with the song in such a perfect way. The music itself as far as vocals go reminds me of Peter Frampton to be honest. I'm most definitely passing this around to some friends of mine.
when i first discovered this song i showed everybody i could think of, replaying the song over and over throughout many days. This song still amazes me i love it! ittl never get old
I tripped across this song over seven months ago at which time I replayed this song for days. I've come back to it and feel the same out of body experience I did the first time--MrMeeble, you are a genius.
I got sent this -unsolicited- by a user named amishprison. I was about to delete but thought, what the hell, and decided to listen. Glad I did. It's like Front242 but stoned (and through a vocoder). I'm gonna listen to your other tracks now and then, if they're as good as this, you'll have a new sub. :)
I like it! I have to disagree with Darkstar on the voice effect... It sounds really good. It can never be outdated... it's a sound effect. I'll bet it is used in a lot of music yourself listen to, even, you just don't realize it. Anyway this is way different from anything I have heard...eclectic and unique. I like this selection a lot. The vid though? lol Thought I was flashing, on that one there. hahaha
Delightful and wonderful combination of audio and visual. One of the best I've seen and heard in years. Not druggie at all, yet very very high. Very accessible to everyone - from DuranDuran fans to Dead Heads. Very clean and polished yet also alive in the best sense.
OK so I'm a drummer, but I think using a real drummer instead of a machine made Tons of difference. A machine would have been ho hum, another one trick pony, bye bye. There are subtle emotional differences in live rhythm.
how does the internet have so many losers posting negative comments on youtube posts... what is wrong with the world that some douchebag feels the need to post a comment like this : QUOTE "I like the music ,there was another song like this one that I heard in the past and the music was like this but better . This is a copy of it . I don't like the effect on the voice . It's out dated ,old ."
My question : how do people like @darkstar2000nds and his type come into being? how can we prevent it?
I Iike very much this video, it is so interesting, for me eletronic music, have this way, complex. But not complicate, thank you, Mrs. Meeble. Happy Christmas, for you and your family. :)))

Anyway it’s just my opinion. Keep experimenting with new sounds and styles and most importantly, keep playing! Great music!
definately like the sound, i'm not usually into the whole vocoder thing but you pull it off quite nicely, that and the drumming give it a somewhat hypnotic effect. thanks for sharing guys! keep it up!
it's a good tune and well written scores... too bad the vocoder makes it sound so juvenille. Maybe not ALL the lyrics should have the vocoder effect, but selectively sporatic instead ... gets a bit tired and irritating... you'll find a broader audience with the change.
@gadorfadil - a "broader audience" is not what I'm after as an artist. We wanted the vocals to sound that way. Sorry to anyone who disagrees with that choice. You know what, that's not true - i'm not sorry. Such is life.
@mrmeeble I'd like to say thank you for not being after a "broader audience" as an artist, what you want to convey really does come across the way you made it. This song is fantastic and to hell with anyone who disagrees. Bravo.
So wondering why you sent this video to me, your music is nothing like mine. The only reason is because I am acoustic but I will say I don;t appreciate everyone commenting on the vocals I think they are good vocoder is a tough thing to master and do right so kudos.

Ambient and intelligent. Love the visuals and the use vocoder. What about a harder edge to play against the subtlety of your images...

definately like the sound, i'm not usually into the whole vocoder thing but you pull it off quite nicely, that and the drumming give it a somewhat hypnotic effect. thanks for sharing guys! keep it up!

it's a good tune and well written scores... too bad the vocoder makes it sound so juvenille.

Bravo.

@mrmeeble agreed.
i happen to be told that sentence too often too.
"if you [suggestion] you´d reach a broader audience!" or: "but with that music you will never become famous!"
..so what, i say? it´s not my goal.

So wondering why you sent this video to me, your music is nothing like mine. The only reason is because I am acoustic but I will say I don;t appreciate everyone commenting on the vocals I think they are good vocoder is a tough thing to master and do right so kudos.

This song takes forever to go somewhere, and then when it does, it's to some fluffy pink clouds in the sky.

jesus the voice fx is simply horrible... this could be so much better with an actual human voice...

@schism1986 - I never thought using a vocoder would be such a controversial choice. love it.
