  • what type of heating did you use to heat the pond for the tiger oscars please?

  • 1600watt clepco pond heater

  • Is the pond heated at all cuz it gets cold on some winter nites

  • Yep. 1600watt pond heater.

  • what language are you speaking?

  • @conach i dont understand wat he is saying

  • how did you put the corners and the pond together

  • You can see the materials I used on the other comments page. And as for the corners they are all screwed together with 3in wood screws and the I added 3 4in steel bolts to add extras strength in each corner.

  • didnt the oscars eat all the goldfish?

  • No. They did eat some but they quickly got to big for them to eat.

  • total cost was about 450-550 for all the wood, liner, pump, air pump

  • i really wanna do this... hwo much did it cost you if you dont mind me asking?

  • What size liner did you use? My husband and I are planing on building a pond in the spring. It will be 8'X5' and 2 1/2 to 3 feet deep. Would a 10'X15" liner do the trick?

  • You would need atleast 14" x 11" to make it 3ft. I would suggest finding one that is atleast 15" x 15" so that way you can just trim away the extra without worrying about not having enough to line the pond correctly.

  • @cantrells3 THANK YOU!!!!

  • How much did the planks cost you?

  • All the wood cost about 200-250$. The most expensive things where the liner and pump.

  • what are the dimentions of the pond, and do u keep them outside for winter

  • its 6'X8'X4'. And yes they do stay out for the winter months since it doesnt get too cold around here in So Cal.

  • @cantrells3 how cold does the winters get and where do u live

  • Winters dont get too cold here in So Cal usually low 50's is the most extreme cold we get.

  • I love this. What size liner did you use?

    I am thinking for mine... 3' high,4'wide and 16' long.Maybe with a water wheel.

  • hey would u not get a few rocks in the pool 4 the fish. im thinkin of building one witha front viewing window . and about 4 and a half or 5 foot deep for cichlids in me garage

  • I do have rocks in there now just not that many since there is already areas on the bottom fo them to hide. I'll make an updated video soon

  • cool! What size wood did you use? Did you bolt or screw the wood together? what kind of pump did you get? Thanks!

  • Its all made out of 4x4x8, 2x4x8, and fence planks .25 in x5in x6. Ill get the exact name of the pump and post it up later. Thanks for checking it out.

  • awesome. Thank you.

  • The planks are bothe screwed and bolted. I built the frame using screws and then placed 4in bolts in the corners to provide extra strength.( 3 in each corner ) As for the pump its a smart pond 1300gph pump I bought at lowes.
