Define "well educated". There are hordes out there with high degrees who can't be trusted to make the correct decision. Have a conversation with or serve with him like I have and you will know college or not, he is well educated. As far as lacking commitment... served 4 years with him. Jesse does not lack commitment. If he does not meet your standards or qualifications for a candidate, fine, do not vote for him. However, you may need to rethink your understanding of a few things.

You couldn't be more right about the education issue. It comes down to the Greeks' notions of wisdom (sophia). Higher education--and one's successes in it--may reveal wisdom. But wisdom is just as often exhibited in daily life (working hard, knowledge of a profession, etc.).

I must honestly say that Jesse Kelly is one of the most inspiring candidates I've seen in years. He's smart, articulate, and knows that of which he speaks. I'm not rich, but I recently gave $250.
