the real question here is not whether it is right to let one man die instead of four, it's a question you have to ask yourself, would you personally take action (and therefore be committing murder) by either pulling a rod or pushing a man (the act is negligible, it's the fact that as a direct consequence of your actions someone dies) to save four other mens lives?
