  • I have a cerwin vega home theater that i really like. But i don't have a subwoofer. The cerwin vega fronts are 8 inch speakers and are quite bass heavy, so my question is: Do you think the SW - 112 subwoofer could keep up with my speakers? Like is it very powerful? THank you, and by the way, very nice system you have.

  • @EVHfilms

Anything below 10" has a hard time trying to produce sub bass frequencies. I'm pretty sure you'd get a very decent improvement if you were to add a subwoofer to your setup. I've never heard the SW-112 but 116dB @ 30Hz sounds like it would get the job done.

  • @digitall321 Does it hit 116 on 30 hz :O holy fuck

  • the rears looks like they are too far apart

  • get yourself some RB61s my man and use them as side speakers for a awesome 7.1 setup,

  • where can i get one of those stands for my RS-64

  • @GP1890 standsandmounts . com

  • hey where did you got the surrounds stands?

  • pffft, get the palladium set up

  • Very Nice setup. Question, i just got my vti stand, the same one u have, but it doesnt seem to hold the weight of the 62. I was thinking about drilling it. But the manufacturing site says that it could hold upto 40lbs. Any advice on the stand would be highly appriciated..

  • @Darkman4561

Doesn't hold the weight? I don't understand. You raise them to your desired height and tighten the knob. The stands have been holding mine for over 2 years now.

  • @digitall321 Ok.. Thanks..

  • Nice sub dude

  • wall e. i love klipsch. our loungeroom theatre consists of klipsch cornwalls and klipsch centre speaker. and we also use a subsonic subwoofer and a welling subwoofer. our surround speakers are crysler ce2. there arent any more in asutralia.

  • Yes, that's the set up to have.

It's a PITA for the Monster Garage, being all speakers have to be at least 6ft of the floor.

For those who only use a Dremel, you might not understand a real shop.

220 welders, 18"cold-cut saws, water spray, etc.

I blew it and missed the sale at 1/2 cost of a RC64.

I do love my RT10 out in the shop finally.

Cabling was the hard part, but solved the other day to get past 65 feet from source.

Cheers & by all means 5 stars.

  • I can only imagine that Klipsch also makes subwoofers for the European market because mine is definitely rated 110/120V

  • @digitall321 voltage regulator, totally worth it

  • Hey, I have a question about your rt-12d sub woofer. Does it require 230 volt house wiring? I saw an amazing price for an rt-10d on ebay and the guy said it will not work for U.S. standard 120 volt house wiring. However, I went on the klipsch website and the specs say that the vac is at 110/120. I'm confused. Please respond. Thanks in advance.

  • Great system, but Klipsch are really one of those speakers with their horns that you either just really love, or you simply don't care for. I have never cared for Klipsch. My uncle has nearly the same set up as you, except the Sub. You have a great system, congrats. My Home Theater is posted on my Channel. I went with Polk, just because I like the sound, but I know lots of people really do enjoy Klipsch.

  • @golfing22002

I totally agree with you and must say that we have completely different taste as I feel other speakers lack what Klipsch has to offer.

  • You really only need to dust them from time to time so I just use the swiffer duster.

  • what do you use to clean your speakers

  • The RF-63's are great on their own, even without the subwoofer. I was just trying them out on an older receiver (actually the Yamaha on this video) without the sub or any equalization applied and the sound was pretty impressive. I have always used the subwoofer along with them but even without it, the bass was very powerful down to about 35Hz.

  • @digitall321 you just sold me on these RF-63's, heading out right NOW to pick up a pair

  • how are the RF-63's for just two channel music sound quality

  • too fancy,dont like it

  • !!!!badass!!!!

  • feed the subwoofer!!!

  • Lol vintage system XD

  • nice set up but if you want to get a better over all sound you might want to put down a carpet for acoustic qualities of the room

  • @jkalus5890

    I am definitely considering.... thanks

  • Those are Some Beautiful Speakers!

  • i just ordered my THX Ultra2 Home Theater System i payed $12,999 cant wait then im gonna sell my wack ass bose lmao

  • @charlie93ful

I'm sure you'll find someone to take that "wack ass" system of your hands for a pretty good price.... probably for way more than what they're really worth.

  • I used all !2 inch Speakers that were KLH On A system I had. But It was 7.1.You Can't hang 12 Inch Speakers on a wall, Had to floor stand them. But I like the speakers you have.

  • For a second I thought you were serious... haha

  • What kind of wire do you use for your system? I'm getting some rf-82 floorstanders and I was wondering what the best wire is.

  • @dukeheat

I built my own banana plugs using 12 AWG speaker wire. Considering a lamp's power cord is just as good as any speaker cable out there, I figured this would do just fine. Plus it's not so thick that It allowed me to route it towards the surround speakers via wiring duct across my walls and ceilings.

  • its so quiet, no impression at all

  • yeah look at those horns !!

  • O man, is that nice! How does that center sound? (drools)

  • how much did all of this cost you?

  • NICE SETUP!! So I just bought an Onkyo TX-SR876 7.1 but have no clue what speakers to buy with my budget. Looking to spend 1,100 please help. Thanks guys.

  • If your looking to buy a speaker package i would say go with the mirage speaker package, but if you are looking to build your own set up from scratch start with your front tower speakers and i would recommend this same klipsch set up! hope that was helpful thanks!

  • Are you looking to build your system slowly or is $1,100 the most you're looking to spend on everything? I can only comment on what I've heard and Klipsch is a great choice. You would NOT be disappointed.

My RF-63's are a bit pricier, but a pair of RF-62's or RF-82's would take care of the $1,100.00. But that's ONLY for the front 2 speakers. You can then start working towards a sub, then finally the center and the surrounds.

  • i think the kg 2 was out sometime in the 80 s or early 90 not to sure but alot of people heard if this model and they was one of the best back in the days that dont mean they are still not good mine still look brand new but they are really good for rears now alot of people have them for rears cuz the highs are so good and they hold there own bass without a sub 2

  • Nice set up, And the fact that you are useing them in a lossless audio set-up is even better. Those digital subs they make are amazing! Like 2 regular klipsch subs in one! Well worth the price, and they calibrate themselves! Cool. Check out the klipsch theater on my channel, I used in cieling klipsch for a 7.3 set up precisely measured for the golden triangle rule. All in ceiling ones are positionable 360 degrees, and sound phenomenal!

  • Nice setup you got, but what is that small screen that's on your rack? Also, you mention the golden triangle rule but do you mean it was measured for the front towers or the rear speakers?

  • are you talking to me ? i am going use my kg2 for the rear and get the mains like you when i get my place my klipsch center is a big boy lol

  • wow i am get this soon i have a klipsch set up as while but i got old school dude i have a pair oF kg2 for my left and right check out my ps3 fanboy part 1 video and u can see my set up check it out tell me what u think

  • Wow, do you have any idea when those models you have were produced? I had never heard of them before. How do they sound to you?

  • did u check out my video i show u them in the video i will do a set up video soon i love them they sound great

  • omg budyy that kicks fuckin arse loo man i realy whant what u got oneday ..i swear man that awsome...

check out what i got so far man and comment u know ur shit bro 5/5

  • wow, you have got a monster, top of the line system there. Bi-amped and everything lol. That sub is really awesome as well. Are the EQ settings on that sub any good? I have been looking at every companys subs, scoping out which one looks the best. And I remember checking that one you have got as well.

  • Well the fronts are no longer bi-amped as I added an Emotiva XPA-3 amp to true 200w to both fronts and center, while the Yamaha handles the rears. The difference it makes is just awesome :-p

  • The EQ settings are not much to play with unless you have Klipsch sends you a program to use on your PC to configure the sub via USB. Otherwise it does have a VERY VERY good auto correction function that works with the included mic. It does a great job of providing you with the bast possible bass response with damn good authority. I have absolutely no complains about this sub.(120dB @ 30Hz, is more than enough to bring down a house ;-P)

  • Wow thats really good. How much money is that sub again?

  • The SuperCube Trinity I am wanting to get, gets 128db at 20hz and 116 db at 16 Hz in a normal room. =D It is a awesome sub.

  • That sounds insane!! Let me know how it turns out. $3,000 is not bad for those specs. Mines goes for $2,200 but I got it brand new from a friend who bought 2, thinking one wouldn't be enough, so I got it for a VERY reasonable price.

  • your system makes me moist

  • Waaaaaleeeeeeee!

  • WOOOOOOW i couldnt believe my eyes Yamaha and Klipsch are a dream team;)

  • Man thass sick!!!!!

  • nice and clean A +
