I use clicker training.......look up clicker training on youtube..i would teach both push as in this video and pull as in my other video where she opens and closes a french door. that was almost 6 months ago..now i just snap my fingers and point at the apropriate door. also she hardly ever scratches it any more, she just pushes it closed.
