i am sure they were curious of the spot lights that were beaming up in the air. thats why it started flickering to show that its interested and to communicate back thinking everyone spotted it and the lights are intentionally for it. or better yet, its just trying to show it self

The remote-controlled aerial photography vehicle is said to be entirely developed in Taiwan and made with domestic components. It can carry a payload, such as a video camera, of up to 400g and can climb to an altitude of 550m. It was filming the fireworks.
