it wasn't intended to be technical! I just figured I would do a version that was relaxed and my own take on it, joy division rock but one man and a guitar can't compete so i tried something different. anyway, hope you like other songs i've covered!

The persistent rhythm of the fingerplay and the sliding from time to time - well actually the guitar playing in general - just moves the focus away from the song and what is it about. I don't feel like your take conveys the feeling of this dark song. I think a more simple version would have been better.

I am not a teenager, I haven't watched Control, and I am not friends with Ian Curtis' ghost. I just like Joy Division and many of the bands that are heavily influenced by them.

No reason to calling me a cunt. To be fair, I have now listened to this version several times, and I do find it to be quite good. Still, it is my opinion that the guitar moves the focus in a wrong direction, and still, I do have this feeling that it could as well be a Britney Spears song he was playing.
