i'm really after of the sensitivity and size of the screen. as much as possible wide and sensitive enough for taking down notes in class. also, good enough for multimedia functions like high definition stuff. and the sound quality, of course. What fujitsu pc tablet is the best choice for me?

The dual digitizer will respond to both finger touch on the display and the pen. If you touch the Start button with your finger, the dual digitizer will sense that input and open it. An active only digitizer will only respond to the pen (hover pen over the display, see the cursor moving). Fujitsu began offering Dual Digitizer option on the T5010 in mid-September 2009. If your T5010 was purchased prior, it would have the Active only digitizer. If you need more, call support 1-800-FUJITSU (24/7).

@StormBringer44 You will see the cursor moving if you hover the pen over the dual digitizer; but hovering your finger over the dual digitizer display will not - it senses finger touch input on the screen itself, not over it. Hope that helps -

Is that xp on home vista or window 7? I can't get my t5010 to touch like u do? can u help please. At the monment I got window 7. When touch the screen it doesn't do shit. Please help.

It's Windows 7 operating system in conjunction with a Dual Digitizer which is optional in both the LifeBook T4410 and T5010 Tablet PCs. If your T5010 has an Active Digitizer it will only recognize pen input, and if you have the Dual Digitizer it will recognize both pen and 2-finger gesture touch input. Is the outdoor screen available in both model you tested here? I like the T5010 with dual digitizer but that version doesn't come with the bright outdoor display.

For the LifeBook T4410, the outdoor display option is available with both the active digitizer or dual digitizer display options.

For the LifeBook T5010, the outdoor display option is only available with the active digitizer display; the dual digitizer is only available with the indoor display.

The LifeBook T4220 is no longer available.

How can it be 12 inch if the other one is also 12 inch? Is it widescreen?

The newer LifeBook T4410 is 12.1" WXGA (wide)

The previous generation LifeBook T4220 is 12.1" XGA (square)
