  • Thanks my friend.

  • Rubber bands dry out fairly quickly. I used the neck of a balloon! I cut it off the balloon, stretched it over the pullys and it works perfectly!

  • Thank you x

  • its called a belt........

  • if rubber band doesnt work , you can go to any hardware store and get a ''rubber ''o '' ring.. for about 59cents ,i did , and it works fine!!!

  • Why do we put up with this cheep'n'nasty japanese crap? Nothing lasts anymore. When it breaks down it's way to expensive to repair and ends up in the bin in a couple of years! Looking inside these though i wonder why it is so expensive to repair DVDs.You remove the defective board inside and replace with a new one. Gone are the days of replacing individual caps and resistors which odlly enough was harder to do yet worth doing. My 1980's VCR still works! i'd love to see any DVD last that long!

  • Do you know to fix a door of a DVD player. I have the same kind of door that you have on this dvd player here where the door goes down so the tray can come out.

    thank you

  • I like it good and its work now my dvd is ok so my father wont take out the money to buy new 1 thank like it

  • Awesome. But how do you fix the part that spins the dvd?

  • @Beepers100 the dvd player doesn't play? if so the lens may be the problem... adjust the potentiometer under the lens assembly, just be carefull..

  • I have this exact same problem but i cant find my two sprocket things =( damn JVC.

  • clever!
