As a long time donator of blood platelets myself I can only recommend more people to give it a try. It's safe, hassle free, relaxing (where else do you get 40 minutes for yourself whilst being waited upon these days...) and also soulfully rewarding afterwards. Also; putting yourself up for bone marrow donation takes just single simple blood test.

Sam as a five year cancer Survivor, I cannot tell you how happy I am to hear of your success. Keep spreading the word it does help. My worst cancer side effect is that I can no longer donate blood, blood platelets or be a marrow donor. Good luck young lady and keep the faith!,
