  • You're a good man Private Ryan sir, you've earned it

  • really not the way to talk to someone, expecialy when they are ill. and of all people, a soldier.

  • @lolsamlolsam I had been authorized by him, to interview him before he became ill. This was my last chance. I know it came off wrong, and I am deeply sorry to everyone. However, no one dare deny the love I have for the man that raised me. I create YT vids as a living. I record my life, all my life, the ups and downs. Please, people, try to help understand me before you comment. I know this vid came out wrong, and I apologize.

  • There was a lot of disrespect...I never would have talked to him like that..

  • @iBundangbear Well I am sorry for that comment, I am glad that you got a chance to talk with him, and I was just sort of.. i don't know when I saw him..Just brought up some old memories myself.

  • @iBundangbear At first, I took you for an asshole, just by the way you spoke to this man. Now, however, I have some grudging respect for your willingness to say that the way you spoke was wrong, and I feel jealous that you had an oppurtunity to speak to an amazing hero like him.

  • dont wine wen he dosent want to tell u his thoughts and memorys...the information he gave was extremely interesting and his to tell....how iz he and stop sayin russians

  • Be more respectful kid, he is the reason you can live your life now.

  • Hi Bundang Bear! How's papa now? Are you still visiting him daily?

  • i stop this vid at 3:02 i couldnt watch anymore I cant Beleave How much disrespect this dude is showing to this guy treating him like hes 5 "did you see a ghost" i would have fucking punched you in the lip if that was my father and i was in the room somebody should just slap the shit out of him for being so disrespectful Like Seriousely.

  • I thank you private Ryan for serving our good county.

  • This man deserves a hooah. For fighting for our country.

  • That man fought for our country but I wouldn't ask him questions about what happened. It might conjure up some old bad memories.

  • he sounds like he was a smoker or sometin.

  • I met this gentleman!!! He came to inspect us in Blackdown Base Borden! It was a great Honor!

  • 2:38 look at that man's expression. You can tell he's offended by the cameraman's patronizing tone. He's a veteran for god's sake, not a child. Treat him with some respect.

  • This guys a dick head (camera guy) he should know you don't ask war heroes questions like that

  • @MrBudha98 its his dad

  • Real man right there.

  • He still remembers everything that happened..

  • thats a real hero show respect :)

  • Jesus poor old man :( he lived so many time and was in ww2, it's really hard to live like that :(

  • I absoloutely hate the interviewer, he sounds like he's trying to communicate with a slow person, very patronising and very disrespectful.

  • I feel the utmost respect for that man, and the utmost pity that he has to sit there answering your questions. I understand that he's your father (seems that way anyway) but for heavens sake, he's 90, fought for the freedom of america, and is clearly on his last legs. Show some repect let him talk about whatever he wants, let him tell his stories his way. I care about what he says, regardless of factuality, not your corrections and comments. geez....

  • 4 dislykez..WTF?? this man fought 4 our country....

  • @rob0895

some twats in the world aye!

  • The guy filming keeps asking about him fighting against the russians... but he fought against the germans, correct?

  • @kevinyankee2 Yes, he fought against the Germans, but met the Russians, in other words, total conquest of the 3rd Reich.

  • @kevinyankee2 Yes. The guy asking questions is a moron. You can tell that coming out of the gate when he begins his questioning with "You were in the Battle of the Bulge, right? well, what happened?" What do you think happened, idiot? Tanks, guns, big explosions. A war, ya know?

  • you were in the battle of the BELGE ?

  • This guy isn't that nice doing the interview

  • everyone i thought i le you know if you play cod its truly not gonna happen but in battle field it probley will

  • You don't ask people who have been in country or on the front lines about killing other human beings. You just don't. It's not a glorious thing to them. One WW2 Vet put it very well, "Only old men and young fools think there is only glory in war." We will always fights wars because it's good for the economy and people forget. New generations come up who don't know how horrible war truely is. These guys will tell you they were just lucky. Many weren't.

  • thanks for your support hero.

  • iwas blessed to have met some of our ww2 and ww1 vetrans they will never be another generation of men and women like them again iam not saying that our people are not worthey but ther generation where rasied hard and grew up in a time with morals and manors and comon values where a must now days theres nether because some parents dont teach ther kids to say thank you and please or how to do a hard days work godbless that generation

  • 2 dislikers are nazis

  • He's awesome, a hero!

  • The gent reminds me of Harry Patch.

  • Sounds like you were ticking him off,Killing is something I wouldn't want to talk about either

  • @BarflyBrookz Thanks. Your support means a lot.

  • @iBundangbear Is this you filming?

  • I want to see a generation of people who never had to think of war, yet I honor those who fought in the past...

  • @fehquig Me, too. Will we ever, ever see such a generation??

  • @iBundangbear We never have

  • @fehquig Our current generation doesn't think of war. The ones that go to current wars going on right now are only of people that think that holding a gun and killing people is cool and so that they can show off about being in the military. People also join because the money is good also and our economy is shit. Our generation right now isn't going to war because they feel like they should fight in a 3rd world country trying to defend itself from our invasion so that we can nation build the MidE

  • An American Hero. Thanks for posting

  • @Sysv79 Thanks so much for your support.

  • Thank you so much for sharing these precious moments. I've grown rather fond of Papa. I wish for his comfort, and am grateful for him that he has you.

  • @anamdeorai Thanks so much for your support.

  • Absolutely brilliant, my friend..

Your grandad is so like my dad was. Imagine your dad with an English accent & you get the picture. Your grandfathers mannerisms are so like dads! Dad didn't like talking too much about the actual combat but he did take me to Arromanches in Normandy, where the Canadian & British troops landed. It had him in tears! He had not been there since 6th June 1944! He remembers the sea being red with blood & grown men dying on the beach, crying for their mothers.....

  • @OfficerGarcia Hugs.

  • I must say Papa's a strong man, he has high hopes or should I say he is not ready :)

  • @Skylinerealities He is super strong.

  • those were some nice stories man, i liked hearing them, it's good to see he's doing better and able to tell his stories they were very interesting ...

  • @TheDigihax More to come!

  • @timothystine I hope you have a magical day, too.

  • @moomay1949 Love ya mOOOZ!

  • Battle of the Bulge. I read up about it. M1 Garand.

  • @ArcyFatal It was a fierce battle. Indeed, Papa must have been a bad ass to win a Bronze Star Medal in it.

  • Papa is a history book and wonderful to hear his storys

It sure toke alot out of him to tell these storys but never the less I really did enjoy them and he wanted to tell us more how kind of him and you to share your daily life with all of us here on the tube.. God Bless you and family ((hugs)) for papa

  • EPIC MAN

  • CooL VID reaLLy

  • @JANCIEprodukTie Dank!

  • Good stories....I used to go see ole' Jim Benner everyday till he died....He was in WWII in the battle of Iwo Jima....Told me some awesome stories about being the guy operating the ramp door on one of the landing crafts....He said you could here the bullets whacking that door and being ordered to lower it knowing those guys were gonna get cut to ribbons...He would be in tears telling about pushing dead marines out of the way so the door could be raised again to go get more troops !

  • @cisjohn2616 Wow, compelling story.

  • The Greatest Generation. We need them now. I doubt if he had to fight WW2 now, he would say what for? This country has devolved so much since WW2. I recently saw a WW2 highly decorated marine say he would no longer defend the US because it is now - today - not worth defending. This man is what made this country great. Now we have a Muslim / Negro president.

  • @mutexnet There were plenty of Blacks in that Greatest Generation, too. This man fought for freedom, AGAINST the Nazis. Get it?

  • @seouldave69 Very good, DAVE.

  • I really like this series! Hubbie's grandpa was a sniper in WWII. He doesn't really talk about war time so this is really interesting.

  • @001just4fun War wasn't discussed then.

  • tell papa i to had a ruptured appendix, and almost died to.i know what he is talking about on that,he sure was talking today, send him our thanks ((smiles)),

  • @truckingsonofagun Smiles!

  • It is good that he has you to keep his spirits up, You are a very good man!

  • @MrHippycris Thanks.

  • The Stories this man Must Have if he could rememer them all the things he went threw Just to imagine all that WOW

  • @ferevatogether There's a lot he's chosen to selectively "forget," as it's probably pretty gruesome. He always goes back to what were happy moments, his time in Copehnagen on vacation.

  • @iBundangbear Your support means a lot!
