In an age where we can do video conferencing and do business online, why should we leave home n go to office. If every one can sit at home and do work, we can reduce traffic to a large extent :)
aren't we controlled enough by our government? do we really need this? can we afford this? sure it's cool but really, have you seen how much this is gonna cost us? are youfamiliar with our exonimic situation in the US? please! people wake up. do you really think this is a new toy that our government is giving us for our birthday? they will manage everythng you do and it's already begun. this is currently being tested in cities and rural area throughout this country. research it sheeple.

I suggest you research mecantalism and Free market capitalism, and see why the goverment cant interfere with it's own economy without falling behined in the worldwide tech race. The Soviet Union tried to control it's own economy, and it failed too.
