  • this is the most melodic copmposition ever written

  • for thuy...

  • lol this song is actually almost 20 minutes long. the last few minutes have a different sound compared to the first part.

  • I feel sorry for anyone who hasn't heard of these two composers / musical geniuses.

  • Wow this is great, and yes I agree, the Assassination.. soundtrack is by far the best I have ever heard.

  • amazingly beautiful

  • I recently saw Faust at the young vic - I believe this music was used at some point, but some of the comments indicate it was used for the death of bunny monroe audiobook. am I mistaken?

  • Girl of Phnom Penh is also a very gripping documentary.. if people havent seen

  • The Assination of Jesse James has possibly one of the best scores I've heard in recent years, no doubt in my mind Nick Cave & Warren Ellis are inspiring conveyers of strong emotion. This track is so beautiful yet a little sorrowful, I love it.

  • amazing music!! reallly! no right words to describe it! thank u so much for this song! :)

  • their work on jesse james is the greatest soundtrack ever composed.

  • There are no words for the beauty these two create. I often find myself listening to the Assassination of Jesse James score and finding that life is quite perfect for no good reason. On my way to by this work of art first thing tomorrow.

  • @bluewhalefish yes yes and yes!

and so good of you to be buying the music as well, these artists deserve that; to get music from the head and onto a cd is so much effort, bravo to them!

  • This little gem of a music can also be heard at the end of Cave's 'The Death of Bunny Munro' audiobook (read by Cave himself).

  • Great audiobook! The track fits perfectly at the end of the story. It's amazing how this song is tragic and uplifting at the same time. Just listening to it brings up thoughts of Bunny, Libby and Bunny Jr. Fantastic!

  • That last sequence is absolutely exiquisite. One of my favorite literary passages ever. I recently started a band called The Key Grips and right now the title of our first intended LP is "As He Stands, Stands Up Above" in reference to that.

  • Cave and Ellis are pure magic

  • Is this out on iTunes?

  • these two together are fucking genius

  • Nice, I'll buy the album soon.

  • Very nice.

  • These two always make great music.
