Have you actually read Horowitz's anti-reparations ad? He never wrote that blacks should be thankful to America for slavery. He merely stated that both blacks and whites in America today benefit from the wealth originally generated by the system of slavery.
That may be quesionable economic science, but it certainly is not racist.

I think what I'm trying to say, is that there is no denying that there are some very radical Muslims out there in the world (and a very very high percentage of them aren't like this). So what do you think when you see them burning American flags and chanting "Death to America! Death to America" or children chanting "I will be a suicide bomber!" How do you guys feel about that? Is this behavior excusable? Should this not be threatening to us as Americans?

As a military wife & Mom of Iraq Vets who have served & are about to deploy to Iraq, this is how I feel. I fully supported invading Afghanistan. Would have liked to have captured OSAMA!
But I believe the act of invading Iraq wasn't justified & ultimately has been a betrayal & an abusive use of our military. The result of which has done nothing but further inflame the problem. How can we blame the Iraqi people for being outraged? We have brought such terror & destruction into their country.
