It is wonderful to hear these children - the Juvenile Ensemble of Perugia, children of Italy - bring to life an ancient and glorious composition and great work by an English composer. Bravo, children! Sing on!
hmm. it rather lacks emotion. This is one of my favorite a capella pieces for choir. And there is SO much that can be done with this piece. When singing "I kiss" SO much tenderness is in that one lyric. THe sopranos especially should sing it with true neeeed. And in the variant lyrics, when singing un-kind a hard K really adds to the difference of the lyrics and that the lyrics are much more dark.
sounds very pretty! there is another choir who does it fast it is ugly but this is very beautiful. the altos can be heard! :D i loves
