I saw a post today where a person, an avowed conservative, said that when the liberals are elected in November, as they most certainly will be, we are going to lose our civil liberties.
1) Which liberals might that be, they all have quit.
2) What civil liberties?
I have fallen down an open hole into wonderland, I am waiting for Alice.
To be honest, of a Democrat wins it, I think you're going to see a total reverse by the Republicans on this issue. I think they won't be so thrilled with the prospect of a Democrat spying on them. I guess time will tell.
There will be twists and turns in the Republican vs Democrat landscape, dare I say charade. But considerable damage has been done and a number of genies are out of their bottles.
The Federal government is hollowed out, privatized. The overseers of the letting of private contracts are now private contractors.
