Air vent is as much a phrase is it is a word. The fact that it's not in the dictionary shows that you may have done a lot of work as a vent technician! I never use the word airvent because vent works perfectly fine. What else does one vent? Smoke? SMOKEVENT (c)! Or wait... chimney. Darn. Airvent is not a word -- it is your brand. And now everyone in that audience is trying to remember your speech every time they shamefully rightclick the underlinesquiggled word: AIRVENT (c).
