I don't know where you are, but I'm in the UK. As such, I have free access to healthcare (under the National Health Service). The NHS is an unsustainable institution anyway, so I think that it should be completely dissolved. In its place, I think we should implement a system akin to America's private health care system. Free access to healthcare for those who would have died off due social darwinism is half the problem.

Actually, I wish the NHS a slow and painful death. A surgeon for the NHS fucked up my surgery as a kid, which led to serious long-term problems. I wasn't even able to sue them for medical negligence, because by the time I realised the consequences I was over the time threshold for which one could make a claim.

Did you even READ the IPCC-report? Did you read how much criticism is in there? Did you follow their argumentation and evidence? i've seen countless climatologists throwing out the accepted view of global warming. if it IS happening, then their opinion is that CO2 emissions are the by-product, NOT the cause. in fact, the theory that they were the cause came about in the '80s and was ridiculed then, but its contentious nature got it a lot of press. more scientists seem to put it down to sunspots (tracked since galileo) and more journalists, taxmen and politicians put it down to our way of life.

Oh God- don't get me started on Durkin's 'Swindle'! He made a series before that which was so libelous that the can't ever show it in UK again! Was riddled with deliberate errors and outright falsehoods. Swindle is much the same. Perhaps the powers that be are scared that CO2 might rise, because this would encourage plant growth in areas of the world that are traditionally pretty barren. Basically, 3rd World countries. This change could in turn help to eliminate starvation in said countries. Due to he ptb's worry about overpopulation, they will do their best to keep CO2 as low as possible and thus dissuade plant growth. I don't know where you are, but I'm in the UK. As such, I have free access to healthcare (under the National Health Service). The NHS is an unsustainable institution anyway, so I think that it should be completely dissolved. In its place, I think we should implement a system akin to America's private health care system. Free access to healthcare for those who would have died off due social darwinism is half the problem.

Actually, I wish the NHS a slow and painful death. A surgeon for the NHS fucked up my surgery as a kid, which led to serious long-term problems. I wasn't even able to sue them for medical negligence, because by the time I realised the consequences I was over the time threshold for which one could make a claim.
The NHS is flawed, like so many things in modern Britain, but because of the liberal strangehold in the government/media complex, none will say what needs saying.

Well there you have it folks. I have watched many videos, and Al Gores Inconvenient Truth. The increase of CO2 is mainly the result of more heat coming from the Sun. As the oceans heat up more of the CO2 that was trapped in suspension is released & Methane. Just like when a soda gets warm, it loses its carbonation. The increase of COs is not the driver for Global Climate Chaos, it is the Sun. Although, the added CO2 & Methane do add to the Green House Effect.

You can also look on land survey maps to find that only 2% of inhabitable land is currently inhabited (including farmlands). Why then this fear that there is not..

I think its grossly irresponsible to have 6 children if you cannot support, cloth and feed them.. This irresponsibility stems from a religious upbringing to not practice family planning.
It happened in Ireland, it was also a result of landlordism and small holding been sub divided for each progresseive son to try an make a living.
Land does increase in size, responsibilty and common sense must prevail!!

.. 1 day of snow that stuck this year. The flooding we have seen in West, South and east Ireland due to increased flash rain fall is unprecedented.
People and animals are suffering loss of home and habitat.
Stop whinging about the connection and start determing solutions for the future for a changing climate be it connected to increased Co2 levels or not!!
'Solutions' mean in all your respective lines of work!!
The people who embrace Adaptation will be the ones who suffer least!!

The flooding is not unprecedented, we have had much worse in Ireland. It is normal for climate to change on the planet it has been changing for billions of years 0.7 of one degree centigrade is the "Warming" all the fuss is about the world has cooled back to that much in the last ten years..this whole thing is about money..carbon taxes

I certainly dont rely on mainstrean facts and figures. There is nothing happening in the world today which has not happened before. Floods, snowfall etc have all been a lot worse in years gone by. This is a mattter of historical record. last winter was the coldest in 30 years

Thanks to the poster of this video. I grew up with David Bellamy and really miss seeing him on TV.
But also thanks to David Bellamy himself, for standing up for what he believes in, despite the BBC cutting him from the production list.
He is a true scientist that does not allow himself to be corrupted by money, politics or general consensus.

Now that the CRU emails have been released, this guy has been vindicated.
The interviewer keeps referring to the popularity of the Global Warming gang, but now we know what that gang has been up to.
Last summer they destroyed their own raw data rather than risk it falling into the hands of independent peer review.

DB is an absolute environmentalist, I have a friend who has worked with him at Durham university who can testify to this, his commitment to the environmental cause is beyond reproach. Yet he has been effectively silenced for criticising the new religion that we're all supposed to bow down before. People need to wake up before its too late, AGW is a moneymaking scam and a control mechanism to keep the plebs in their place and nothing more...............

If I wanted to implement a global scam for taxation and control I wouldn't be so dim as to pin my scheme on something that didn't have at least some truth in it. It would have enough substance to keep the scientific community and the general population divided, while my political aims were rolled out.
It would tap into public guilt and fear, making good use of the media whilst bankrolling 'favorable' scientific research in the form of generous grants.

First, you need to show when this so called event took place. Who claims it. Where did the evidence come from? All you have done is spout off about some nebulous fantasy event that you are convinced happened.
I just realized I have already answered your silly question. Dr. Saltzman puts forth that a volcanic event took place in the midst of an ice age 443 million years ago. High CO2 and cold world.

During the last 600 million years only during the Carboniferous period 350 to 290 million years ago and the present Quaternary period 2.6 million years ago to present have co2 levels been lower than 400ppm..so for 536 out of the last 600 million years co2 levels have been at times 20 times todays values..the fact that you refer to this accepted science as a nebulous fantasy shows that you have NOT done the homework.try Wikipedia, national geographic, AGS or countless other sources

And yes, the Oregon Petition has been thoroughly discredited. Bellamy's only way back to face time on camera is to be a fringe lunatic. Anthropogenic climate change is now one of the most tested theories in history. Arrhenius proved CO2 was a greenhouse gas over a hundred years ago. His data and conclusions are still valid today.

"Cloud" is not a gas. It is condensed water vapor. Big difference. The human species did not exist when CO2 levels, ocean levels and temperatures were significantly higher. You easily confuse variability with a trend. Climate is defined by at least 30 years. Guess which direction that trend is headed. Go ahead, guess.
Look up Dr. Saltzman for explanation of high CO2 levels during an ice age. Short version, ice started first then, volcanoes 443 million years ago.

The facts are mother earth is not warming, C02 is a minor greenhouse, the ice caps are not melting, sea levels have not risen in fifty years, polar bear numbers are at their highest for over thirty years. Rarely, in the course of You Tube has a post crammed so many intentional errors into so few words. NOAA has an entire section devoted to the Arctic. Everything you mention is addressed and is refuted. A lot more evidence of warming is presented there as well.

I know where to find the information. You do not. I mentioned NOAA in previous reply. That doesn't seem to meet your criteria. How about the Natl Snow and Ice Data Center? Or maybe Goddard Institute for Space Studies. How about the US Geological Survey? Does Department of Energy do it for you?

Obviously not, because the argument made in the video was already debunked there years ago. No scientist gets richt doing this stuff. i've seen countless climatologists throwing out the accepted view of global warming. if it IS happening, then their opinion is that CO2 emissions are the by-product, NOT the cause. in fact, the theory that they were the cause came about in the '80s and was ridiculed then, but its contentious nature got it a lot of press. more scientists seem to put it down to sunspots (tracked since galileo) and more journalists, taxmen and politicians put it down to our way of life.

he makes a very important point... if both theories are plausible, why does the media jump on the CO2 bandwagon with both feet, sacking people who won't "tow the line"? i think it would be ignorant of me not to consider the other points of view. just like 9/11, middle-eastern conflict, medicines being held back... you have to ask: "who benefits financially from all this?". the answer is, the super-rich banking/corporate families. the most positive thing we can do is to make that fact known.

The thing that pisses me off about these conspiracies is that when you look into them, they are so weak and implausible that only the most naive of amateurs could believe them. I think they are the result of the absolute dearth of evidence to substantiate most of the climate change denier's theories- they are turning to x-files type excuses. Like Bellamy, its pathetic.

Oh God- don't get me started on Durkin's 'Swindle'! He made a series before that which was so libelous that the can't ever show it in UK again! Was riddled with deliberate errors and outright falsehoods. Swindle is much the same. It was thoroughly panned by scientific institutions in the UK and Australia for having twisted or just made up data. Google 'swindle monbiot' for more if you keen.
I agree with you on apathy- tragic we live in the age with the most information but so few people use it.

The 'alternative' theories to anthropogenic climate change are implausible ie. climate today is stable/cooling/warming and the cause is volcanos, the sun, water vapour, ocean cycles etc. They have all been disproven to a degree which satisfies scientific convention. Anthropogenic climate change has not. Scientifically, its the only game in town. Everything else is fairy stories.
