I finally realized why I couldn't hit the ball with my irons correctly. This film showed me what my problem is. Although it's just one part of my golf swing issues. Now I can hit the ball squarely and further. Accuracy is still an issue but it's getting better now that I know how to hit the ball. Thanks for putting this video online. I was almost going to give up but now I have some hope to get better.
I've caught myself popping up, but it's really a mental thing as a result of not wanting to DUFF.
So I'm willing to bet a good amount of people raise up because they want to prevent the duff, which means something else is wrong, probably the set up to the ball and the swing.
Don't know why, but I'm getting the urge to go and buy some golf clubs. A name's coming through ... is it ... Bing? Ting? Ping! ... Ping, that's it. Why's that then?
Thanks for the videos, Jeff. I just wanted to say that I really feel that you have helped me simplify my swing a bit. I am able to think about it a bit less, and not over-analyze while I am making the transition to a good one plane swing (I am currently and over the top pusher hitter)
Another fantastic video Jeff, and very timely for me at the moment. Thanks a lot man and keep 'em coming. I'm sure you are helping alot of golfers out here. Thanks again.
get more weight on your front foot before impact and you won't. i have the same issue. you might even need to feel a slight "bump" with left hit (although you aren't supposed to slide hips w/ this swing) to get enough weight left. Feel more 5050 weight dist. at top of swing helped me. JMO.
