Depends which country your in. Depends the quality of albino you want. I've seen them for $400 to $700. Females are usually more expensive. The high contrast albinos can be in the 1000s range.

When I first got him, the food size was a little small, so every 4 days. With appropriate size food every 5-7 days. Once they get older they need to be fed less often.

Thanks! Whenever I use anything else with ball pythons it always seems to build up to much humidity. I'm going to be switching my Woma over to paper within the next week as well.

I use only paper or astro turf myself. Wet wood substrate is number one cause of scale rot. I even shred paper for all my breeder feeder rat and degu enclosures. LOL

Luckily I have not had to deal with that. I have a drill I'm getting Tuesday so I will get some holes in those tubs to get rid of humidity for the ones that need it.

Get a wood burner or a soldering gun. They're a lot cheaper and its way easier to melt holes than drilling. Sometimes drilling can crack the tubs. I personally use a wood burner and it melts perfect circles on my tubs

Thats what I was originally going to do. However I have needed a drill for sometime anyways so this way I can get more than just 1 kind of use out of it.

I have been given some tips on how to avoid cracking, including going really slow.

Believe it or not 3 month old BPs are quite capable of eating an adult mouse, maybe even at 2 months. Well that depends on how well they've been feeding since they hatched

I know they are capable. But it is not healthy for such a young,small snake to eat a large food item like that, it can damage the snakes esophagus, and have a snake bloated for a few days which is very unhealthy. An adult mouse is almost 2 times the the width of a 2-3 month old ball python. I wouldn't be saying this if i couldn't back up my comment.

there's no way an adult mouse can be 2x the width of a 3 month old ball python. I know this because I raised most of mine since they were 50 grams or smaller (1 or 2 weeks old). I dont mean to argue but I can also back up anything I post. Not only by experience (very little btw only 2+ years and 17 balls, I still call myself a newbie) but I have friends that are breeders with way more experience (5+ years in the biz) and that I learn from every time I see them.

I am yet to get bitten by any of my snakes. Ball Pythons generally are not aggressive, although babies will be more prone to striking. A small ball python wont do any damage. An adult would probably hurt, but then again adults are docile assuming they are handled occasionally so you would not have to worry about their bite anyways. All 5 of mine are big babies (although technically 2 of them are babies).
