  • well that means it's fresh =]

  • its just very fresh sushi its muscles are still twitching its normal

  • Yuck

  • how the hell did i end up here ??? lol

  • really LOL'ing because the two top comments are wrong... THEY ARE CALLED COLD BLOODED.. they twitch for a bit even when they are dead. warm blooded (humans etc etc.) dont

  • i will never look at tempura the same ever again...

  • I still would n't eat it..

  • I want some - the extra pain inflicted upon the fish improves the taste tenfold

  • @ank2000 to bad its not a fish, its a crustacean. And to bad it doesn't feel pain, because it's a invertebrate. But good attempt at trying to be a jackass

  • @djil8 oh, they looked like fishes to me - didn't read the description. What's the fun if they can't feel pain? I'll have to stop torturing insects and move to humans.

  • @djil8 Of course it feels pain. It has a nervous system. Just about every animal does except for sponges. Even jellyfish have nerve nets. If it's a prawn, it has a little ganglion (kinda like a brain) with a nerve cord. It is an advantage for animals to feel pain to avoid such things as being slowly eaten.

Not saying what I think about the video. I'm just saying that it does indeed have the capacity to feel pain.

  • Well, at least you know it's fresh XD

  • THAT LOOKED SO DELICIOUS!!!

    I WANT SOME OF THEM!!!

  • meat is goooooood

  • They're still dead, it's almost like muscle spasms I guess, if it has no brain now then it's gonna be like some bacteria, when the move around like crazy because there's nothing to control the movement.

  • If something with the brain that's been cut off is technically dead then how do you tell when something, without a brain, like a jellyfish is dead or alive?

  • Brutal! Are you still sure that the human being is the wisest creature on the earth?!

  • Another tip to check if u're eating fresh shrimp, like the above, check for fanned out tails, it indicates that it's cooked while it's alive, so it struggles.

Ok, i knw it's cruel to say that.

    I'm jz mentioning~

  • dont call it alive if you ever learn about biology in school or something is related to it..

  • What would you prefer? Being eaten alive or after you are dead? Imagine your leg or your stomach being cut open while you watch and can feel what's happening. I hereby sentence you as an accomplice in the genocide of animals. Buried alive or eaten alive at all? Saw his regards.

  • I'm never eating shrimps again!

  • I wonder how it feels to eat that.

  • Don't like animal abuse? Don't eat any animal so they won't catch any animal again to feed you. -_-

  • Okay so i dont think its a muscle spasm from it being fresh, Ive had superr fresh fish like really fresh that my dad has caught and made and it never twitched

  • I'm just sayin'. Would you liked to be chopped and sliced alive? usually, they don't even remove the head of the fish/whatever so that it can be as fresh as possible.

For me, I would even prefer killing it myself in their kitchen, doing it very fast and not causing any suffering.

  • I know it is dead.

But I think it should not at all to make it move.

Think about people who have been killed and corpses cut to move even <<Although it is impossible even.

    It cruel to me.

I wish everyone vegetarian like me.

  • @ba9bii When you're decapitated, your head is still conscious for about 15 seconds. Our bodies twitch also for some time until it stops.

I don't really think this is "cruel" as they decapitated the fish first, so it dies and therefore doesn't experience the torture of the cooking after.

If you want cruel, you should look at turkeys and other animals that weren't decapitated first, and just thrown into boiling water.

  • @shad0wdawg i have to apologize you and PrettyTigerlilly too .

i dont know about a different culture for foreigners.

I knew this cause I'm scared that I was born.

Torture 15 seconds. This is my new knowledge at all.

    Really scary.

  • @ba9bii How certain are you that plants are not feeling pain or some discomfort in their own way? Native Americans believe all life has a consciousness. Everything is cruel technically and you should not judge others based on what they eat/do because you have no idea whether you may actually be doing the same yourself.

  • lol how did they do it wich crafting or chris angle

  • Oh nonsense!

  • @AnimationAnimater12 So? it could feel the pains right away like I said once you hold the sharp pin and feel the sharp on skin right away.... exacty! Geez weird inhumans!!

  • @JADEAV lol. go to school jadeav. go learn some basic anatomy.

  • this must have been filmed on one of those research ships they use for whaling .

  • Evrythin movez becuz of nervez after yurr brain issh gone, SUMHOW.

  • Kill it first ! you idiot!

  • @JADEAV its already dead.

  • ill put it on my plate grab my fork stab the living crap out of it and if its dead then eat it :D

  • I bet it taste awesome^^

  • stfu and eat it while it's hot!!!!

  • @junweila sushi is cold >.>

  • letzter wille!

  • thatd freak the heck out of me, even if its dead

  • "At least kill it first!" Waah Waahh Waahhhh!! Stop your bitching! ITS A SHRIMP!!!

  • atleast kill it first.

  • most off asian people are cruel kant believe they could eat something that is still alive thats just cruel

  • well sorry we don't slaughter our food in masses or chain up baby cows to keep there meat tender before we slaughter them.

    it's "can't" not "kant"

  • I guess most of these people who complain about it, doesn't know about the slaughterhouse.

For a person not to be a hypocrite, he must not eat anything. Plants are alive. They are still alive when you eat them.

    .

  • @blueiceflames and when i shit them are they alive ?

  • @Fanarh yap if they moving lol

  • @cjae1994 It's not alive, it's just it's muscles twitching, they don't need to be alive to do that.

  • the shrimp isn't actually alive, it died the moment it's head came off, that's just a neurol reaction.

  • lol it has a tail boner

  • its not cruel... these fish had good lives, i mean fuck other fish and make millions of baby fish, swim everywhere they want to, hangout with other cool fish... they just cant help it being at bottom of the food chain .

  • fucking lush i love sushi

  • @RifledBarrel

unfortunately some of those retards are smarter than you......lol

  • then lemme guess...ur dumbass eats steak welldone?

  • then i guess you must love it RifledBarrel

  • They're not alive, they simply what they call "Fresh meat".. If the head is cut our then they are not alive anymore because if you learn this in school, everything in your body connects with your brain.. They are moving because nothing is controlling the nerves and it will only twitch for a bit.

  • @JvPaVp its called being a zombie

  • @JvPaVp Even if theire not alive.

The cut them and sometimes fry them while they're still alive fucking asshole.

  • @Gigglesonline

They cut first or energy would be wasted.

  • @JvPaVp Shrimp don't actually have "brains". They have a ganglia, which is basically just a junction where a bunch of nerve cells come together. The ganglia can perform some very rudimentary organizing functions, but no actual perceptual lucidity.

  • those aren't alive...there's no brain or organs....it's just muscle spasms that occur after death....but they must be pretty fresh to still be kicking like that...

  • i don't know why, but looking at this and those related videos makes me hungry

  • me too idk but i want to eat one of those live umm gross things

  • @hermoineglitter same here. i guess it's just because sushi is like one of my favorite foods

  • lol even if its moving lol mmm hungry again

  • btw im full but i kinda hungry

  • aahahahaha.!!!

  • would be kinda weird to feel it squirming down your throat D: But it probably taste very fresh.

  • i really care how fresh they are lol

  • Its called nerves.

When you chop off an chikens head, the body moves up to 5 minuttes after.

So my answer for this flipping, is moving nerves.

The fishs only way to move forward in the water, is by flipping its finnes.

You can compare it with an heart, if you have an heart for an slaughert animal, and you then punp it with you hand ones or twice, it automatic starts to pump agan.

That becorse its made only for pumping, and your now jumpstarting it. works for short time ofc.

  • @dryaermitore "When you chop off an chikens head, the body moves up to 5 minuttes after." I see you are very intelligent. I just want to ask... how did you know that... nvm I don wanna kno

  • @dryaermitore also the heart is a special muscle with its own special electo tissues. Its meant to stop and start. Other animals nerve systems are like this as well. Personally I think it just makes them more appealing to predators, there by saving others around them. Its a death call so that healthy individually around them can get away safely.

  • I can eat sushi without any reserve but can't try shirimp sushi

  • you replied cause you care. and ppl gave -1 to me. you know why? cause they cares. faggot.

  • Boo hoo...... :*( cry moar

  • its not moar its more stupid

  • MOAR!

  • MOARMOARMOAR

  • your actin like a child....childish

  • another cry baby....

  • are u telling ur self that?cuz itll be cool if u will

  • I'M guessing english isnt your first language?

  • umm haha i dont speak english

  • people might think this is cruel, but it comes nowhere near what pigs, cows, and chickens go through non stop every day.

  • And here I was thinking it had something to do with you being a pansy.

  • No it doesn't. They aren't fried alive every day. Unless you're accounting for a brain that might not be aware enough to feel the same misery.

  • good job but too ordinary scenario

  • @pablopeppino3 wow that was a stupid comment

  • @DQBlizzard168

shit, a little shrimp can talk! XD

  • is that "kuruma ebi"? you know, "kuruma shrimp".

  • hai!

  • google 'sushi encyclopedia' to know about the kuruma shrimp, xwawas. ^ ^

  • i love japanese resteraunt!!!Yum

  • Sadistic! lol!

  • EWW SUSHI

  • wow u must get off on that

  • just cut its head so he wont suffer

  • if you feel sorry for this.. why dont u just stop eating meat lol. The head is cut off.. i dont think it feels anything.

  • That's as fresh as it gets

  • feeling sad for ur meals lol

  • Well I do eat meat, but the meat I eat is killing instantly and humanely.

  • lol imanerd36 that makes no sense, just because you don't kill it doesn't mean it's killed instantly and humanely, trust me I've been to the butcher house

  • USDA is usually strict about the killing process, not the necessarily the care process(I have seen the videos.) But they are very strict on how the animal is killed.

  • lol who told you this your english teacher? there are no such thing as "humanely" killing live, breathing animals. If you ever been to slaughter house, people use electrical prod to knock cows "unconscious" supposedly but most of the times, those cows have clear consciousness while people start chopping their ankles off with cleave knives. Where have you been? You're a meat eater and stop trying to justify that by saying animals get killed humanely lol people like you make me laugh xD

  • Why all these people laugh? I don't understand what io so humouristic. It's sad.

  • Its just the muscle reaction. If you cut a chickens head, the body can still run for some good seconds, but she is dead. I saw pigs getting their head cut off, and the body still moving, its normal, but the animal is dead already (no I'm not a maniac, it was an education video on a class)

Also lobster, crab, and all of those guys don't feel pain, they are litteraly bugs, just like cockroaches.

  • The fish or prawn or whatever was in that nigiri is dead. It's not alive. This is just leftover muscle spasms.

And even if it were alive, you don't say it's cruel when a bear fishes for salmon and then eats it raw, right? It's just a part of the natural process of life...

  • well we are not bears eating our meals alive nor any other carnivore animal, that's what makes the difference on this video...

  • it is sad

    go veg

  • go vegetarian or vegan if you have a problem with your food once being alive... wait.. plants were alive too, when you eat a fresh carrot, it's still alive. But it's all a miracle of modern society that we are able to take up veganism, because if you werent being shipped massive amounts of bean/soy products that can make complete protein, you'd have NO CHOICE but to eat meat

  • Let's put it this way: i'd rather die than support abuse

  • there is no abuse there, that's nerve twitching...

it's dead there... in fact those moving pieces you see have no connection to any brain material either, so there is nothing that could be causing them to move... besides the dead brain that's probably in a garbage 10 or so feet away

  • It was still caught and killed for food though! That's still wrong!

  • then maybe we should kill all snakes, felines, canines, whales, spiders, hawks, gulls... and anything that's a carnivore... just so no creature will ever have to be eaten by another creature

now tell me, if your food could be completely artificially created... like star trek replicator style... then would you eat meat? ... it wouldn't have come from a living being

  • Think about this. Killing animals is necissary in the world. What about over population? If tigers didnt eat the antilope, then the antilopes would overpopulate. And if there are too many deer roaming around then all the grass and water would be gone. And if all the grass and water is gone, then the antilope would all die of starvation. Its better that the animals, like the tigers or us humans, took care of the population. The only time im on your side is the fact of killing animals for fun.

  • I'm starting to see your point.

    I guess you're right...

  • Its ok nyuu. Theres no need to be sad about it. If you like it, then be a vegetarian. Its all your decision and i hope ur happy with it! =3 Its just never really a good idea to try and force ideas on others. But your right, its never a good idea to support abuse. Just follow what you believe and you'll be ok as long as what you believe doesnt hurt anyone else. =3

  • I was just mad at how whoarentyou was being so rude about it.

    Thanks for understanding.

  • mmm that shrimp looks good i would eat it but its cooked

  • The fish that twitched its tail isnt alive, if any of you do fishing and often kill fish, you will notice after the fish is dead it still moves. Its just nerves telling the muscles to move, but admitadly, that sushi has been dead for a long time and shouldnt be moving.

  • WOW pinky

  • I love Alfredo noodles with a medium-rare steak covered with A1 steak sauce, with a side of cucumbers and pear and a glass of Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon, preferably 2003 or 4, but I tolerate 2005.
